- Alright here is WM’s newest picker. Rich with a veteran driver who sure knows how to get a route done. Had fun filming this last week as the first week of yard waste.

In my state(North Carolina), some people would throw their grass clippings in their trash can which is "WRONG".
When I was in the 9th grade, my friend told me that throwing grass clippings in the trash can is considered a crime in some countries or states.

Working on a rear loader if the driver gets out that helps a lot as long as the crew has a routine going that's all you need.

think they left the last can way to heavy they should leave all the heavy cans tag them then off to next stop

@@richardcole8169 how does it work if the cans are to heavy to lift? call it in to the office and make a note to call the customer why it wasnt dumped? what if they dont pay the bill? you leave it?
City contract so you pay taxes that pay for trash. If it’s to heavy it gets left. No tag no nothing. If the home owner has a few brain cells they’ll know why it’s still there
@@TruckMaster642 i figured that much by me they tag it for heavy or its contaminated or bill wasnt paid or they paid for 1 bin not 2 or 3 by friday route has lots of ranches most of the green waste is from the horses lol heavy and stinky if its like 100 in the shade or worse it rains

Where I live they have a similar policy they can only collect both sides at once if they are on a dead end or aly rd every other street only collect on the right side of the truck that gos for yardwaste, trash, and recycling the village does bulk yardwaste like branches, limbs, and trunks/logs larger than 2ft in length twice a month where the garbage company does yardwaste in cans and paper bags once per week in garbage day on a separate truck than the regular trash

I completely agree. Just this week alone I saw numerous barrels that were way to heavy
My area has rules. Size limit. Bins must have handles. 50 pound weight limit.

Bro,there needs to be 2 guys on the back of that truck. The poor guy back there is getting killed,if there is that much yard waste then they need to put an extra person back there.

Two seats in the truck. WM doesn't let anyone ride on the step for more that 2/10 of a mile, or like 5mph. Instant firing. I do agree the drive is in a LE Mack truck and it would be very easy to get out on stops.

Nah actually the driver don't even have to get out so I don't agree with that,at least he is getting out helping front time to time,I bet you can't do a whole route by urself 😆
