    While the trains look fantastic and the routes are accurate, the background is in serious need of a big change. Do you think the future releases of openbve will allow developers to make better backgrounds, and maybe real time skies?

    • @adammars1438
      @adammars1438  2 месяца назад

      @@pacmantravel2158 if I remember correctly, OpenBVE has something called a “sky block” texture which is basically the background. Not much they can do there as they can only use pngs or jpgs of sky images.

      @@adammars1438 Thank you. I hope they improve the sim to allow developers to create real 3D background objects, fully functional with day and night and busy streets with moving traffic.

      1. Download OpenBVE
      2. Go over to BVEStation for route and trains
      3. Put the routes you have downloaded to the routes folder. Make sure to extract the route as it will be downloaded as a ZIP file. Upon extracting the folder, you will be given an Object and Sound folder.
      4. Once downloaded, extract the trains into the “Train” folder.
      5. Use RouteViewer and select the route you want to use to check that you have all objects.
