Love how your talking about the process in real time, most videos I see usually do prerecord footage with a lot of jump cuts, thank you (recently been getting into the hobby myself)
@@Virtual_Maid_Miyu_Full_Menu I'm still trying to figure out the layout of these videos. Will definitely try to retain the process as much as possible.
Man, I'm also in this journey. I bought my first 3d printer this year, a fdm type, and I choose this type because the materials are cheaper and is more aproppriate to put in a close room. I also started to print some models, and 1 thing that i learned printing 4 figurines is that is better to print the parts in the same oriantation that they are going to stay, like, print the leg stantind instead laying out, beacuse this aligns the figure in the same layers, or print the whole figurine standing too. I'm from Brazil, so forgive me if my english is not that great, kkkkkkkkkk!!!
I'm trying to do something similar with organizing but I have so many other hobbies that I just throw them in a box 😂. I'm trying to get all the tools for priming and painting so I haven't worked on this in weeks it feels kinda brutal lol
@@raveniyez Acetone doesn't work on PLE, at least that's what i've reseached from multiple places. Melting methods also smooths out details a lot. Some uses heat gun with around 200c temp.
@@zerherdal8518 yeah I looked into it after you warned me seems like a lot of details would be lost if I'm not careful. I'm open to experimenting but maybe not on this figure lol

For FDM layer lines most use wood filler to fill the valleys and sand the surface flat.
@@HaloseBetaM14 another one to add to the budget lol
I just finished printing same model, excited to paint it
very fun

for me i use a resin printer to avoid a lot of sanding and have mold quality finish by default. you can use acetone to smoothen FDM prints.
@@miguellopez3392 Definitely give it a try. Barrier to entry seemed cheaper for fdm but still have to find solutions to problems 😂
