Peter Millar ain't dead - in the past 7 days I've sold two wool blazers, one for $55, one for $65, one NWT Featherweight polo for $56, and a EB66 pant for $40 (in 40x30 that fits 40x28 no less)
This is a great video! Would love to see more like it with the explanation of why the item sold! You have some really strong knowledge of the clothing category!
I tried list perfectly for 6 days in order to crosslist my 200 clothes from ebay (my main income) to poshmark (an account I've had for 10 years I used to buy from years ago but never gave a true chance to sell on). But after that I cancelled it because it wanted over $50 bucks to enable auto-delist when an item sells which is RIDICULOUS for me because I'm 9 months into reselling & not making enough to afford and for that much money and the fact that I only sell 2-4 items a day I can just manually delist items myself yanno. Thank you for your channel & sharing knowledge!
@@shannongreenlaw321 that makes sense! For a few items, manually delisting is a good choice. For me, I sell 20-25 items per day so I would be on my phone all day long delisting items
Hey, thanks for the great videos. Would you recommend picking up Levi’s jeans NWT for 6$? The sellthrough rate for them looks bad but I’m guessing it depends on the specific line.
Just heads up the LL bean Katahdin is Ka Tah Din not Kat ah Deen maine reseller :) Its big mountain here. The Abercrombie that sold for $20 looked like might been button fly, that seems to usually help my sales. Very interesting video.
I also watch cayley elaine for ebahy resell info. She talks alot about using keywords in her title & description. I notice you don't use style based key words. Is that because the brand sells so well it doesn't need the help? A lot of my items are low to mid STR because I'm new & testing things out, so for those things I am right by using keywords to help it sell?
Hello Thank you for the vides i do watch most of them. I thouhgt you were listing 20 a day but i heard you in tjis video you are listing 15 a day now.may i ask why you lowerd tha listing per day. Thank you
Caleb, could I send you pics of an item/tags and see if you can identify what it is? I can't find any comps. I know you're good with style codes and such.
I’m intimidated by shipping other than flat rate as all I’ve used is Poshmark.. do you think it’ll have a negative effect on my eBay sells once I start to cross list? I’m new to reselling and have only listed 13 items and have sold 3 of those so far.
Hello - I'm new to the channel - & have zero experience at reselling. I'd like to start a small scale reselling mini-gig to see if I like it. If I enjoy doing it - perhaps I'd attempt to expand on things going forward & scale up my "operation". I seem to learn best when "how to" information is laid out & organized in "book/written form" as opposed to just video blogs & Facebook groups etc... Could you please recommend a good reseller instructional e-book/manual - that is up to date & provides a thorough overview and a decent enough initial game plan to help get me on track to setting up, sourcing & reselling in the short run? Thank you :)
@@_calebsells No problem - thanks for your response. I've been looking for a good reseller course/e-book for a while now & keep coming up empty. Seems like everything out there is a subscription based Facebook group (which is fine - but (from my past experience) this isn't the best way for me to initially learn new skills).
I am lost how you’re finding so many NWT on good brands. All the thrifts I go to have zero to none NWT items, let alone high end brands. Can you shed some light on that for me? Is it a different kind of store like Ross or Marshalls you’re sourcing at?
How in the world are your selling costs 16%? Mine are 33.9% for September. Here's my numbers. Number of sales- 310. Total sales- $10,283. Selling costs- $3,490. Net sales- $6,217. Promoted % on all listings- 5%. % of sales sold from promoted- 47.6%. Premium store subscription. Top rated plus.
I sell about $3k per month on there. I ignore all that stuff and let autoposher do the social media stuff automatically for me. i just accept/decline offers and ship orders and collect money
There is no such thing as sell through rate above 100%. That violates elementary school age math. Having a STR of 125% means you had 100 widgets in stock, but somehow ended up selling 125 widgets, even though those 25 extra widgets never existed. STR is calculated via this formula: Items Sold / (Items Sold + Items Still Listed + Unsold Expired Listings)
You're right in a traditional sense. This is made up ebay youtuber math where if you sell more in 90 days than you have listed, hypothetically you would sell more than 100% of your store in 90 days. But I head your point. That is the traditional meaning and calculation for STR
If you watched this live, I had to reupload so make sure you like the video! Thanks!

I would pick them up and price them aggressively to increase the STR
Really helpful and encouraging, thank you!
Thanks so much, glad I could help!
Are you pricing higher to leave room for offers or do you price at what you would like to sell the item for? Great video!! Thank you!
I price on the mid to high end but not above the market
Omg phone on a lanyard - great idea! Adding that time saver to my pic process. Thanks!
You’re welcome! 😊
How do you itemize or catalog your items? Spreadsheet? I heard you mention an idea and knew it was from a specific month so just wondering?
I just go by the SKU number. I give every item a number
@ are the SKUs based on anything or just numerical order whatever comes up next?
And thanks for taking the time to answer. Just found your channel and enjoy all the info!
Just numerical order counting up forever
How vital do you think the measurements of ptp and collar down are? I haven’t done them
I think it helps but it’s most helpful with eliminating returns

@@_calebsells doubt anyone out side of maine would notice. Lot of LL bean around here though the stores think its gold. So its usually over priced.

15 per day

Sooo many flawed items! Are you intentionally sourcing the items with imperfections or do you realize the flaws after you bring it home (like me)?
I try to notice everything at the store because I don’t want to pay up on something with a flaw

most are thrifted. Find bigger thrift stores that purchase inventory in bulk or get store returns.
