Probably or just a method to nerf an artifact right before putting omega out. So everyone would think : hey DKS is useless, i will feed omega with it ! 😂
@@solareiusdeiu DKS is not useless. DKS reduces the cooldown of orbitals and increase its damage. That’s the only good it’s gonna be used for. Don’t just throw it away for new art or you’ll get out dps.

A blatant lie
I think nerfing and updating are different things. Updating would mean making them relevant to gameplay today, especially compared with other arts, while nerfing them only means removing some aspect and altering some numbers to discourage players from using said arts while making the newer ones look more attractive for players.

It wasn’t worth updating if it wasn’t an exploit. They only want to change exploits.
@@claudiabcarvalho that's gibberish. An update is any post-release change; doesn't matter if it's a buff/ nerf, a mechanics rework, or even something as trivial as fixing a typo.

@@xz4409 I went in the exploit forum section and told them specifically how the bugged work and they fixed it 4 months later. That’s all it takes. Nobody else obviously didn’t get the devs attention because they need to be reporting exploits in the exploit bug report section like the rules clearly tell you to report them at.
showcase other things/tricks that needs fixxing dont hide them.
I'll rather dps the old fashioned way, but nice change was needed.
@easekram just the other day i dps'd with tantu totem and lost to 3 precs swapping arts but barely i came in 3rd boss fight damage, i died in a boss fight . Id love to get that run back...hardlight
@@mallwilliams8695 lol u have to understand prec players this dlc stay in brawling they are not trying to do boss damage the raid is 90% ads if u go in a run and say lets do boss damage only youd see the difference
i wonder why ppl care about balancing in a game that lots of league speedhacks to get their shit 💀, pve focused, there is no bonus for being 1st tho

@@solareiusdeiu Nah, Amulet and Ebon can stay that way. Mercy is bugged tho but the trinket pet thing having to swap the art shouldn’t be intended because Mercy Reactive Field doesn’t mention a cooldown and that’s where the damage comes from when summoning pets. The only thing that mentions cooldown is the ability you get from it and the pet shields which resets if you swap. I honestly feel like those shouldn’t have a cooldown anyway because pet summons have long cooldown.

@@HiHi-yk1mv mercy damage doesn’t even compare to being able to keep your stacks just by swapping the art of before using a finisher. You swap, you should lose your stacks no questions asked
They fixed it to push might players to buy the omega art. They don't really care about balancing the game. It's all about money.

If it was for chill majority of players would have no idea about what these changes mean. Sure devs sometimes write articles abut changes, but a lot of times is written crazily so we don’t even be knowing what stuff means
Just to understand.. in a superhero game in which we are supposed to use super powers, they continue to nerf might. But they never talk about the completely broken precision dps, all the other Art swap, weapon swap, the incendiary mine and many others? RIP Dcuo this is enought for me.
I didn't know this was a thing... I just swapped dead kings whenever my orbital strike came off of cool down. And from the beginning too. I could have been getting all this extra damage. Sigh.........

That’s how it was working for me for a while? I was testing it on targets and I wouldn’t proc. I’m on ps4 so I don’t bother swapping only do DKS with orbital
I believe we deserve compensation many of us and myself included intentionally leveled the artifact strictly for the orbital assistance proc that you get when swapping it in

They should just lock Arts when you enter an instance. Problem solved.
That causes new problems. What if it also locks your current arts in a different role!? Say if you're DPSing and need to switch to Healer. Your DPS arts would still be active, even though you're in Healer role.
What if you're in open world using specific arts, and get ninja'd into an instance. If you need to change to other arts, you're up a creek without a paddle.
Not only that all arts go be useless see the problem is it go jus take up space that why players swap is jus to proc that's why...I does always tell new players yuh don't have to art swap it's not necessary but if u can do it then do it ok stop complaining bout it alyuh new players can't jus come into the game n want to change things especially if yuh scoreboard chasing and wondering why u not dpsing or any role some in alyuh does hve the wrong arts n rainbow augs but complaining get better at the game n get yuh arts augs and loadouts right before talking bout stop art swapping alyuh hve some serious skill issues

yes, the artifact itself hasn't changed at all. Just what happens when you equip and unequip the artifact continually.

I don't have it, and farming quarks seems very tough, just came back after a long idle.
You don’t have to, they are just nice because it’s 100% health and power return where the soder colas are a % chance range

It helps when you have been around since artifacts released. Also when I could I bought nth metal from the broker, nth metal is not cross platform so when PC nth metal showed up it was easy to buy with in game cash. I’ve definitely spent billions on nth metal
@ObsidianChill man I been playing since beta and I just got my first art the source shard to 200 lol cause of feed others into others when I get them to 160 but it's all been from grinding . I guess I been lazy with it .. but it's hard trying to level up arts for 8 toons lol 😆 least for me .. rl gets in the way alot
