It's metaphor he used, as opportunity only comes once in a lifetime and don't exhitate to take it as he says loose yourself. His message was to ceize any opportunity as it won't last or would never come twice. For example, Dr Dre allowed him the opportunity to become a star so he took it above and beyond, now he's Rich.
