Any time there is mismatch versions, missing an option or error on the code, the code generation will not complete successfully. You might open the "MESSAGE WINDOW" and find out why it canceled. To get to the "MESSAGE WINDOW", select the "Window" tap then select "MESSAGE WINDOW".

Go into the Programming/Diagnosis section of work visual and look for any errors in the error list.
