When the Master of guitar tone speaks, we in the audience had best listen and heed 🧐 and I don't say that lightly. This man is capable of producing the best tones I've ever heard, for a plethora of guitar-playing genres. 🔥❤👍
Best new guitar mic I know of is the hand-made Soyuz 1973 FET condenser, but it's $800. As well as being very sensitive and low noise it has a special resonator that reduces harshness without affecting detail. I assume it's impossible to entirely eliminate diaphragm resonances, so they made a special resonator to cancel the harsher midrange ones. It has a sort of "relaxed" clear midrange with great dynamic detail that perfectly complements guitar. I'd choose it over any ribbon mic.
That could have been disastrous. Hope they found a way to remedy that. Some old amps had a steel band inside the leather, but that's not ideal. Could cut your hand to shreds if it breaks. Something like a Kevlar weave might be better.
All cool and that Orchid Pink Gristlemaster really gives me the fizz

All hail the lord of Gristle
tone chaser ... I love him for it .
The "DELAY LLAMA". Hilarious. Looking forward to seeing Greg Dylan and Tobey in Seattle this summer.
"Koch Work Orange"! Great name for an album!
Heck yeah, I dig it all!
This is awesome, and very cool to see this took place moments before my face was melted by the gristlemaster himself.
A true master of face melting and stage slaying. Saw him live in San Diego. Such a delicious sonic treat. I can dig it!
Hey Greg! Love your equipment! No wonder why you sound so good!
That pink paintjob on the Tele looks so sick!
Sounds amazing
Great preview! I was surprised not to see any mythos pedals on the board? No Golden Fleece or other fuzz?
Delay llama is the best pedal name ever
I didn't know the humbuckers were available with a phase shift. I wonder if you can modify an existing pair to get the phase shift effect?
It is possible, and if you use Fishman fluence humbuckers you can use their phase inverter accessory to achieve exactly what Greg is doing
@@ryanfitzsimmonsmusic thank you, how can i get the formula?
What is that guitar stand/case??
Koch amp is also Dutch😊
Sv20 settings?
Greg
Your cool 😎
Who makes that cool roadcase for the guitars?
It’s a Scott Dixon Flying Scout case from the UK
What gauge strings do you use?
And what microphones does Greg use for guitar cabinet?
shure ksm's for this gig
@@gregmize01 Greaat thank's. Or maybe you know what microphone he regularly uses for combo amplifier in Orange/Gristle room?

not sure about the fender amp handle ....... greg you are the man of tone and playing ..
Thanks! You caught the amp handle:) My leather one broke and the only thing I could find in a pinch was a Fender one!

The only thing I have to reveal is that I have nothing to reveal
