So the weather here in British Columbia hasn't been on our side deciding to give us one last freeze up before real spring so I decided to take you guys URBAN GOLD PROSPECTING to show you that there is gold in creeks and streams that you would never think twice to look at

I'm going to try to pan for the first time. Great idea to practice closer to home. In the first minute of the video you show the stream, where is the best point to access it? by the lake? or can you provide a cross roads? great video! - subscribed! -Mike
You can access that specific creek across from Rochester middleschool!
I found gold in my back yard in Surrey (when I was living there.)…. Was very surprised by how much fine gold there was.

What municipality is this in, roughly speaking? Tip: Lynn Creek in North Vancouver has a few specks of gold here and there. Park at Inter River Park, the far end. Walk up Lynn Creek a bit, and you'll find a ton of heavies, plus occasional specks of gold. Good fun!

Great video again! Can you pan any water source, so long as it's not private? Like, if I'm hiking on crown land and there's a river or creek, can I pan?
