Kev এর খাবারের মান আসলেই খুব সাধারণ মানের। সময়ের সাথে সাথে ওদের আরো আপডেট হওয়া উচিত। হয়তো শক্ত কোনো প্রতিদ্বন্দ্বী না থাকায় এতটা উন্নয়নের অভাব। পাশাপাশি হাইজিন ফ্যাক্টরের দিকেও তাদের নজর আন্দাজ করা উচিত। কারন অনেক সময়ে গ্লাস/প্লেট আংশিক অপরিষ্কার পাওয়া যায়, যেটা খুব ই মর্মান্তিক বিষয়। এত ঐতিহ্যের একটা ক্যাফে, অথচ গুণমানের উন্নয়নের কোনো লেষমাত্র নেই, বরং আরো অবনতির দিকে যাচ্ছে। খুব ই দুঃখজনক!!!

Best view of Kachenjunga in my personal opinion is from St.Paul's School Darjeeling during November - March. Studied there for 6 years and was blessed with the view every year.
Absolutely correct observation about Darjeeling and extremely important message shared by you! However, the mass tourism in Darjeeling may lead to the same fate like Joshimath soon! So congested..so much construction ( many illegal no doubt)....huge stray dogs population in the Mall...it reminded me the recent very tragic incidents in various societies in Noida , Kerala.. Darjeeling needs serious regulatory measures to make it a world class destination.

Hi Writam, This is another fantastic series of videos on Darjeeling. Thank you so much for these vlogs. I just have a little issue with your food choices. The signature dishes of Keventer's are their Chicken or Pork Platters (which contains sausages, bacon, meatloaf, salami, eggs), their ham and cheese and of course, first flush Darjeeling tea. You cannot go and have sandwiches and declare that the food and the restaurant is quite average. It reminds me of that previous video, when you had Biryani at Glenary's and said that their food is bad! That's quite unfair! There is a saying: when in Rome, do as the Romans do. There are some people who always run around trying to find restaurants serving Bengali food, regardless of where they travel! I would suggest that before you visit an eatery, please watch some other travel vlogs or read some google reviews to learn about the place and their signature dishes, order those items and then give your review.
No no its completely fair..shobar choices in terms of food are different 😊…I just shared what I felt about their food..not everyone has to agree about it ..95 percent around still prefer Keventers and Glenary’s…
I had taken their pork platter n it sucked super badly. All the items were extremely oily n very much salty. Escalating heart attack kinda food. But this time I bought their raw salami n sausages n prepared by myself , those were super delicious. The locals buy their raw items n never eat there, cause of a reason ;)

দার্জিলিং নিয়ে আপনার বলা সব কথার সঙ্গে সহমত। কাঞ্চনজঙ্ঘার সঙ্গে আমার তো মান অভিমান জড়িয়ে থাকে। যদি তিনি স্বমহিমায় প্রকাশিত হন নিজেকে খুব ভাগ্যবান মনে হয়। প্রতি বছর এখানে আসা হয়। ভালবাসায় জড়িয়ে গেছি। আমাদের দায়িত্ব নিশ্চয়ই একে যত্ন করে রাখা। আমার গত নভেম্বরে দেখা কাঞ্চনজঙ্ঘা এখনও পর্যন্ত সেরা। view ছিল তিনদিন ধরে সমানভাবে। ডালি মনাস্ট্রিতে যেদিন গিয়েছিলাম অনুষ্ঠান ছিল একটা। এত colourful well organized মন ভরে গিয়েছিল। জোড়পোখড়ি, লেপচাজগত sightseeing করেছিলাম কাঞ্চনজঙ্ঘা সাথে ছিল বলে, কৃতজ্ঞতা জানাই আমার সেই ঈশ্বরকে, যিনি দুচোখ ভরে দেখার সুযোগ করে দিয়েছেন আমাদের। ভালো থাকবেন আপনারা। আর এভাবেই বেড়িয়ে পড়বেন। পাহাড় মন ভালো করে দেয় সবসময়।
আমি আগামী জুন মাসে সপরিবারে দার্জিলিং যাচ্ছি সেইজন্য তোমার ভ্লগ গুলো আমি খুব আগ্ৰহ সহকারে দেখছি। সত্যি কথা বলতে গেলে তোমার প্রত্যেকটা ভ্লগ এর বর্ণনা এত সুন্দর যে দেখতে দেখতে আমিও যেন ঐখানে চলে যাই। অপূর্ব। আমাকে একটা information দিতে পারবে এই গাড়িটি তুমি কোথা থেকে বুকিং করেছো তাহলে আমিও ঐ গাড়িটা ভাড়া করতে চেষ্টা করবো। ভালো থেকো। ঐ wagon R এর driver এর নামটা একটু জানিও।
আমরা গতকাল দার্জিলিং থেকে ফিরেছি এবং Amos এর সঙ্গে যোগাযোগ করে তিনদিন ওর দেয়া গাড়িতে করেই সমস্ত জায়গায় ঘুরেছি। সত্যিই দুজন ড্রাইভার ই খুবই ভালো মানুষ ছিল। তোমার এই ভ্লগ দেখে আমার খুব উপকার হয়েছে।
বাতাসিয়া লুপ জায়গা টা এত্ত সুন্দর ও মনোরম যে, এখানে অবশ্যই আলাদা করে সময় নিয়ে ঘোরাঘুরি করা উচিত। কারন জয় রাইডের নির্দিষ্ট কিছু মিনিটের ভেতর এটা সুন্দরভাবে এক্সপ্লোর করা কোনোভাবেই সম্ভব নয়।

No offense intended, but u should try some of the signature dishes of the restaurant before judging it. A sandwich is a sandwich, irrespective of wherever you eat. Kev's speciality lies in their Pork Platter or Chicken Platter (sausages, meat loaf, bacon, salami), Pork Hotdog, Ham & Cheese and they are just out of the world. Also, how can I forget the amazing Darjeeling tea they serve. Please try the above mentioned items next time, and I do love your vlogs. Best Wishes !!

4:50 it all depends on you and your will power.. so don't give lame excuses.. I live in Kolkata too since my birth in 89 . I wake at 5.30 am eat breakfast by 7.30 am , lunch at 1 pm dinner at 7.30 pm and go to bed by 9.30 pm ... this has been my routine since last 4 or 5 years , hence where there is a will there is a way. So shohor aar pahad bole na...it's All about the MINDSET , LIFESTYLE you choose, time management and priorities of that particular individual 🙂

আমরা গতকাল দার্জিলিং থেকে ফিরেছি এবং Amos এর সঙ্গে যোগাযোগ করে তিনদিন ওর দেয়া গাড়িতে করেই সমস্ত জায়গায় ঘুরেছি। সত্যিই দুজন ড্রাইভার ই খুবই ভালো মানুষ ছিল। তোমার এই ভ্লগ দেখে আমার খুব উপকার হয়েছে।

বাতাসিয়া লুপ জায়গা টা এত্ত সুন্দর ও মনোরম যে, এখানে অবশ্যই আলাদা করে সময় নিয়ে ঘোরাঘুরি করা উচিত। কারন জয় রাইডের নির্দিষ্ট কিছু মিনিটের ভেতর এটা সুন্দরভাবে এক্সপ্লোর করা কোনোভাবেই সম্ভব নয়।

No offense intended, but u should try some of the signature dishes of the restaurant before judging it. A sandwich is a sandwich, irrespective of wherever you eat. Kev's speciality lies in their Pork Platter or Chicken Platter (sausages, meat loaf, bacon, salami), Pork Hotdog, Ham & Cheese and they are just out of the world. Also, how can I forget the amazing Darjeeling tea they serve. Please try the above mentioned items next time, and I do love your vlogs. Best Wishes !!

4:50 it all depends on you and your will power.. so don't give lame excuses.. I live in Kolkata too since my birth in 89 . I wake at 5.30 am eat breakfast by 7.30 am , lunch at 1 pm dinner at 7.30 pm and go to bed by 9.30 pm ... this has been my routine since last 4 or 5 years , hence where there is a will there is a way. So shohor aar pahad bole na...it's All about the MINDSET , LIFESTYLE you choose, time management and priorities of that particular individual 🙂
