I'm having trouble growing my nails. I always color my toe nails, but finger nails I put nail strengthens. Deep red on toes. Summer. Pink or mauve or white if fingernails corporate & grow. Occasionally, wine dark wine colors for Xmas or winter.
Warm/neutral skin and very fair so my nail faves are bright oranges, orange reds, peachy pinks. Also can do grape, dark purple, oxblood, black, dark brown - great for contrast! Also can do some blues. For nudes warm sheers (like a beige leaning sheer will look white on me), rose gold. I have learned that lilac and any cool toned shades, yellow and greens (except for very deep greens) look sickly on me, and pale pink makes me look like miss piggy. Static Nails Fetish is a great neutral for me.
See, my problem is I feel like a medium in all the categories and I wish there were shade selections for mid shades for reference on this scale. (For those of us who can’t imagine it or describe it without help) 😅😊
I like coordinating my nail color with my skin color. Just tried light blue lavender. Beautiful color that looks a little sickly on me. Luckily I have a gillion other colors to try next. 😎
I feel naked without my nails done! 10 yrs ago I started doing my own gel nail polish. I'm a winter - sparkly neutral on my fingernails/berry,red,pink on toe nails. I've tired to wear color on my fingernails, but it just doesn't feel right for me. Fun content ❤
You mentioned you're on Pinterest at the beginning of the video. Perhaps at some point you could share Pinterest boards to serve as inspiration for various colour palettes 😊
Sometimes I’m confused with which nail colors look best on certain skin tones. Perhaps it is the balance between wanting the to blend in with skin tone vs. standing out, but not too much. It has to be just right. Colors that I would think are in my palette are not necessarily good nail colors and vise versa.
Finally, a video about color analysis in regard to nail polish!
I wonder where I can find the colour palette for the six dominant characteristics. Love your videos! ❤
Does the added black in deep colors cool colors down a good bit and also soften them a little bit?

The deep palettes within the tonal system are deep and warm and deep and cool. You nailed it Lucinda

I feel the same as you, Lucinda, about wearing colors that blend with my skin.
This was fun!
OPI Cajun Shrimp is a beautiful color and has been around for years!

I do nails and I've seen chrome used as a verb to add a finish to any color. It's not necessarily supposed to be the color of chrome
I think key for nail colour at least for me is that it matches my skin tone otherwise it's not flattering on me.
I would love to see actual brands and colors for my color. I have a very hard time and have wasted a lot of money. I just want to be told - haha
I also would like brands and the names of colors.
do you have a fall color trends video?
We only discussed it over on our Patreon but maybe we can do a full video! Thanks

Simple more like geometric nail designs ❤
To me those “chrome” nails were more opal. lol 😂
My swimsuit is a peachy orange. Better for me as a warm
I’m an accomplished pianist, so I keep my nails short and unpolished. I don’t paint my toenails, either.
