Garo is one of the most underappreciated anime I've seen. There is definitely some weird CGI mixed in at some points, and it can be a bit over the top. That said, everything with the character development, the story, the action everything really is all really good. The movie sequel really doubles down on the feels too. I shed manly tears more than once throughout the series and enjoyed it thoroughly.
