- On this Airstream Life vLog, we are finally leaving Tucson and starting our 2019 adventures east. Steve does a last minute check of the Airstream before we hit the road, Penny gets very excited while Courtney packs up the inside and we squeeze out of our very crowded spot at the Pima County Fairgrounds. We are heading to a Harvest Hosts vineyard in NM. For that adventure stay tuned to the next video :)

Eek ~ pretty tight in that camping "spot"! You thought you looked small... can you imagine how small our little Rpod would have looked? Ha ha! We love the Harvest Hosts program and I have done individual videos on a lot of them ~ can't wait to see what you come up with! Loved, loved, loved that happy, excited dog!
To counter the winter vortex, stock plenty of Baileys Irish Cream and Stream On!
safe travels - just watch the weather. We're moving into severe thunderstorm / tornado season in the southeast later in February & March. Fair winds & following seas for your east coast deployment!
We did the 8 month “east” adventure last year....22,000 miles! Headed north to South Dakota, then east all the way to Maine (Acadia), then south all the way to Orlando , then east back to Arizona! Lots of amazing stops along the way. This year we’re doing westward then north to the PNW... over to glacier np, Teddy Roosevelt np, then south hitting 3 np in Utah and ending up back in Arizona.
Fun to see that even Patti and Penny are evolving and now look forward to hitting the road.
Interesting how the pets of full-time RV'ers (with RUclips channels) come to be seen by viewers like me as part of the family. Along with searching for a motorhome to haul us around the country, we are looking at dogs with the intention of adopting one when we are ready to hit the road. Patti and Penny are quite the inspiration!
So looking foward to meeting you guys at the RVE Summit. I unfortunately was in the polar vortex with temps at -20 which of course brought some frozen pipes as well. Hopefully weather will be nicer in Alabama in March. Safe travels.
We loved hitting the road from Florida at the end of December, but we have had nothing, but cold on our trip out west so far. Hopefully you have good luck back east. We are in Cali for the next 2 weeks at least.
So excited for you. See ya in Pa.
I am excited to see you leaving to head east but both of you and the girls seem to be even more excited to be on the road again. I am so much looking forward to your 2019 videos documenting all the new discoveries you make in the East.
Penny is so happy! I hope the change of weather treats you well.
You should visit Big Bend National Park when you go through Texas
Bon Voyage!
Gonna be a great adventure. Hopefully we’ll get to see ya’ll in Houston.
Safe travels, looking forward to all the videos.
Safe travels👍❤🐾
Guess we'll just miss you guys. Maybe some other time.
Bummer!
If you stay i10 and south you should be good as far as weather
Ground hog Punxsutawney Phil, proclaimed the other day that there is no shadow of him and a beautiful spring it shall be. That's the good news. The not so good news is he has only been right about 40% of the time!
I have read Punxsutawney, PA is a nice tourist stop. There is a Harvest Host winery/brewery nearby.
When are you coming through Knoxville TN?
Unfortunately, we are going to be rushing through Knoxville in between commitments right after the RV Entrepreneur Summit in early April.
What are you using for a Real view monitor etc?? thx..
How far was your first day of travel?
4 hours or so driving time with stops. That's about as long a day as we will do.
10-4
Weather comment from central NC. Late March might be tolerable for you warm blooded Western folks, but April would be safer bet at our latitude.
Remember that Harvest Hosts “value” is in their database. If you publicize your stay locations calling out sites by name, you decrease the value of becoming a member. They mention this in their terms of service. I’m really looking forward to your trip as we are thinking of a similar trip and wonder how it’s going to go along the eastern seaboard.
Interesting, maybe they won't call out the names of the wineries, but the general locations?
