Ankit Bhaiya, I am somewhat in a fix and want your opinion and guidance. I am from Delhi and was alloted CSE sp. in Cyber Physical Systems in Chennai campus. Since I have not heard of any such branch in computer engineering, I am not able to make up my mind, weather I should join it or leave. Hope you will guide me properly....
There won't be any major differences bhai. VIT has created multiple CSE specialisations just to accommodate more number of students. They all get same opportunities during and at the end of the course.

My son got CSE CORE in Chennai VIT, Please advice quality of education and job when compared to vellore.
Hello sir, there is no comparison that you can make between the two campuses. Faculties are recruited through common process in all the campuses and there are internal transfers as well. Placements are common, companies come for VIT as a whole and not for any particular campus. Also the degree at the end will only have VIT University Vellore written on it.

bro I applied for btech in CSE specialized in ai and ml (which I gave as my first preference) but unfortunately I didn't get that course.
but I got Btech in electronics and computer engineering specialized in ai and ml. and after a few research, after comparing both...and there wasn't any issues like I couldn't manage or something... so what do you think should I go for it or try the 1st mentioned course in some other college... btw this course I got now is in Christ University Banglore.

ECM at VIT Chennai has been a very successful branch. Thapar too is a good college and hence I assume it should be a good decision to take ECM there as well.

You'll mostly end up in a corporate office in a metro city. If that's what you like, it'll be good for you irrespective of the gender.

ECM gets better placement opportunities than ECE in IT companies. Electrical and Computer would be similar to ECM

@@GamingLion-jx9bp After asking from a bunch of people I came to know that there isn't much difference between the two if you want more software and computer oriented work then you should go for ECM and if you want more of hardware oriented and want to learn about wide ranges of electronic components then go for ECE

EE (Hardware Oriented)
As you go below the line you will get more hardware oriented tasks and as you move up more software oriented branch.
if you're confused then you should check the syllabus of each branch by yourself of the college you're getting into and check list of subjects and take branch that suits you the most

ECM branch gets the most opportunities after CSE/IT. You should definitely take it. In my batch ECM average placement was at par with CSE and highest package was 40+ lpa.
