- Arsenal vs Fulham was a game arsenal would have been hoping to take home all 3 points, unfortunately.. that did not happen!
arsenal was so close to securing all 3 points but a late Gabriel martinelli goal was ruled offside and arsenal had to settle with a 1-1 draw with Fulham.
arsenal struggled in all areas after Mikel arteta decided to change the team drastically and opt for a make shift back line.
arsenal have now put themselves in an awkward position I this seasons premier league title race, with ma city dropping points and Liverpool vs Everton being postponed, liverpool seem like the real winners this weekend.

On the bench for Arsenal's game away to Fulham were two left backs who were not used, but at least one should have been used. *Myles Lewis-Skelly and Kieran Tierney.*
So why the hell Arteta put Partey at right back and Timber at left back, I just do not know? He should have left Timber in the RB position and brought in either ML-S or KT at left back. Thus keeping one of the Premier Leagues best defensive midfielders, Partey, in midfield.
But the draw also showed us that we're still needing that one person we've been screaming out for, for the last three years. *A clinical striker!* And Havertz is _NOT_ a clinical striker. He's no more than an attacking midfielder. But Arteta loves Havertz, so we're kinda stuffed in that area. If we get anyone in, in January, it'll probably be another defender and still leave us short where we need it. A striker. And because we didn't have that striker and didn't score in the first 10 minutes, that puts the pressure on our defence. Teams now know that all they need to do is defend till they can break out and score, then sit back and soak up the pressure because they know we'll really struggle to score a goal. And the chances are that if we don't score, they'll most likely get a second. And if Fulham had been a little more clinical, they would have gone 2-0 up against us.
For the first 10 minutes, we battered Fulham. They then broke out and scored and then went into a 5-4-1 formation and we couldn't break them down. We were far too slow in our passing. It was only in the second half that we really upped the tempo and pushed Fulham back and actually looked like we'd score.
Yes. We should have, could have, had at least two more goals from corners. And if we'd had someone like a Šeško or Gyökeres, then we'd have won that game.
So who's to blame? Arteta for mucking about with the team selection and our players for not scoring.

The problem is ball position,keeping the ball and the swing in the defence from left to right or right to left,you have to be quick when you are attacting and clam when in defence mode,move in space to makespace for the pass be creative
Arsenal lacks aggression, they play at too slow a tempo and are not direct enough. Arsenal owners are too cheap, they should have bought Gyokeres last summer, they have no excuse for not buying him because he was available. Gyokeres is durable, robust, he is good in the air, can shoot with both feet, he's fast, powerful, extremely good at pressing, and can play across the frontline. He was my #1 pick last summer and I think Arsenal messed up by not getting him then.
Arsenal was sailing close to FFP, they couldn't even buy a goalkeeper they had to do a loan-to-buy

Jorginho, havertz, Jesus, are supposed to be surplus to necessity, our striker department is just a joke we need to make a ruthless signing of a typical 9 and another wide forward and that's Nico Williams

Honestly people need to chill the toxic mentality is coming back. Fulham are a good side currently top 6. We play that game 10 timed we win it 8 times arteta can't mitigate for the players having a bad day at the office. The seadons not over till the last day of the season.

This season I think Ateta was much confident with his team but some areas need much improvement.

Partey lacks aggression. 6 of Arsenal's first 11 are below average. Martinelli, Havertz, Jesus, are mostly deadwood. Arteta's habit of switching players' position is criminal.
I have never rated harvertz as a striker Even by 4/10 the fact is we lost points because of arteta's poor tactics, bad day in office for our forwards and lack of a striker and if we are to wake up we need a typical 9 in Jan and that's v.gyokerez
Havertz is not a striker. He is playing out of position.

Martinelli is turning into a Walcott. Just all speed and no technical ability or football brain. I've been screaming for Sterling to start for weeks! At least he can complete successful dribbles and create. Martinelli can't even keep possession.

arsenal lack technical players like jack wilshere, santi. no two footed players.
if the plan is to attack from the wingers, the option i see is to start playing sterling.
at least he does dribble and beat defenders.. not expecting that many goals from him, but yeah.. we need to score ugly goals as well
Arteta is 100% to blame. Harvertz doesn't pose any threat to anybody. We're better off with either Trossard or Jesus leading the line, and Partey should always play in the middle. The team is too predictable.

The problem at Arsenal is always Mikel Arteta. He makes simple things HARD. We should be able to beat Fulham.
Why play Timber on the left when we had a specialist left back on the bench. Tierney is fit. He is getting paid every week why not use him, if he injures so be it, Lewis-skelly was fit. We had to play our best midfielder at right back. Timbers effectiveness at right side was lost. When is Arteta going to tell Kiwior to stop going too forward? He did same against Liverpool and Mo Salah scored, he did that again and Jamenez scored. Odegaard was not at his game and you brought Ethan Nwaneri with 11minutes to go. ARTETA IS OUR MAIN PROBLEM , HE MAKES SIMPLE THINGS HARD

It's not doom and gloom. Why do you expect our boys to beat Fulham? Be respectful to other teams. Man city should be the best team in the country and have lost more games than us, yet you query Arteta's selection.
