I am very interested in the psychology of this drama. Avenue X said it was not a drama because there is no actor character development or arc. It is just eating, singing, and sweet eye gazing in beautiful nature spots. So this drama is just a reprieve or a break from the normal drama storylines. After watching Lost you forever which is so heartwrenching, it is nice to balance it out with a heartwarming drama.
Yes others might find it boring or meaningless but through this drama TJC gets to promote Chinese music and cuisine and Zhou Ye for Chinese modern fashion which she did well in as this year's Film Female Spokesperson something (forgot the actual name of that event she's with Dylan Wang there)
I'm also subscribed to Avenue X. It's a good spot to get a feedback on a specific drama for someone like me who is not in the domestic audience. We can't categories people to straight group. Every one has different opinions. That's her viewpoint of the drama. Not everyone in a same page. As a person, me, I enjoyed the drama really to my fullest. Very satisfying. Shows a life that every person dream of. Really creative with whole story and idea of adding dubbing or backstage artists. It's really shows the colorfulness of the Chinese culture. Totally refreshing of the subject. If someone who doesn't know anything about Chinese entertainment watch this they definitely will be mesmerized and fall in love with this wonderful world like work. Really brilliant. Every drama does not need to flow in a same rhythm. By being different the drama gives off a unique taste. The leads are good. First time seeing ML in a drama. Have a good impression. Got interested. The other characters,the story revolves around them, the places, the scenes, how the director tries to show the society in the drama and good qualities truely entertained me through the beginning to the ending. That's how much I am delighted to watch this drama. So take other opinions in to consideration but see for real for yourself. And come to your own conclusion. Rather than being shadowed by another person's opinion. That's how we must wide our knowledge. People have their own freedom to say whatever they want. But as listeners choose wisely is our matter. For me this is a good drama.
I'd never thought that I would ever come across a drama that is sweet all around, portraying a process of natural development of man-woman relationship (though some acts only exist in dramas 😜😜) But the whole drama was so heart fluttering, and such a relief from all those messy plots and conflicts.. ahhh.. what a stress reliever for me... I'm gonna watch it again 😂😂😂 In case I miss any important dialogue, small acts / significant scenes..😜

Need to have a season 2 where there storyline is continuing but someone tries to keep coming between them but all they see is each other and they trust each other and when she sings she starts to lose her voice that would require surgery and he helps her through it and he then proposes to her and they live happily ever after

The actor kept talking about himself or his opinions. It’s obvious he didn’t even try to get the female into the discussions or look at her if she had anything to chip in. Though he may have been in the industry for so many years, it’s no wonder it has not taken off as it should have been. Many people did not even know his existence until the costume drama “Lost without you”. Even that, it’s because the drama and the storyline itself are good. Not because of his popularity.
Not my favorite. No chemistry between the main couple. But what an outstanding cast. They looked like they had become family and enjoyed working together.
