The way you present information is stellar, this channel got me experimenting a ton more with music because of your educational style and how fun you make it to learn new things. Stay bassed 🐠
dude, the way this guy will make a beat/song full of examples then make a video over it talkin bout it is so crazy.... such a unique and great video/teaching style. keep it up g
Just a lil tip since it wasn't mentioned: In FL hovering a note and Shift+scroll will nudge the note forward or back. This makes it super easy to nudge them quickly and with high precision. Edit: On second watch I just noticed he called the pattern with the strummed guitar "my purple guitar" which I thought was a funny easter egg.
Also just to add, you may have to re-enable it, since after a recent update I believe its disabled by default. I had to go back in and re-enable since I use it all the time
The most creative, fun, informative, entertaining and unique channel I’ve seen in a minute, this channel is so underrated ong. Please keep making more vids dawg
You present things so creatively! It’s so intuitive… so groovy, so entertaining, and it shows the theory in practice at the same time! Phenomenal work :>
I have absolutely no connection with producing music, and yet I still watch your videos when they show up on my main page, I love how you present the tutorial to the rhytm.
Everything in this video flows so steadily and makes such good use of the time. Not a second of this video was wasted. I also love how your speech patterns just go along with the music. Makes things more engaging. Good bass advice too!
And the single most important thing, which btw has been there since the very first example at 0:10, is The Power Of The One. If you know it, you know it.
Mr. Synthnet, whoever you are, this content is amazing. Your production values are top notch. They’re fascinating, smart, fun to watch, and do such a good job at illustrating the ideas. They are quite fast paced but I think that actually makes them more engaging somehow.
These lessons are great, breaking down into the most basic, allowing user to feel they are advancing and not an overload of information. Music is art and art is about experimenting, finding your own style, so these videos really help to bring out people individual styles and twists. I've only ever done music as a hobby, teaching myself how to use ableton and such, things in your videos have really reflected on some of my works that sounded OK, but could have used these techniques. Thank you!
as a bassist this is very accurate and good for funky slap lines. amazing video! i suggest less complex and more funky ones that branch away from the tonic, then bring it back home.
I’ve never subscribed to a RUclips Channel so fast, first video I’ve seen of yours and bam, this format is perfect for my ADHD brain! Thank you for existing, you’re awesome!
Nu fattar jag varför jag älskar dina videor, du loopar delarna av låten du pratar om och du håller upp tempot genom att prata lika högt, lika snabbt, och lika mycket mellan pauserna!
Man, your videos don't seem like they are minute or 2 minutes long. They seem to be much longer. Thank you very much for these videos. I've never seen anyone do such high quality and educational videos under 3 minutes
Bruh this randomly came up on my recommended and now I'm subscribing. Such a short video was able to show off a great way to make bass lines. Definitely gonna use some of this in the future 👍
Finally, a bass line tutorial I understand. You have saved me. Thank you so very very much. You have no idea how much this means to me. Stay awesome GOAT
Fire bass lines completely enhance a song in every possible way, amazing video showing how to make them great! Groovy bass lines like this are why I love Japanese music they have it in spades (anybody who’s heard bands like Casiopea or Zutomayo, will understand.)
I can't say more exept that this was extremely well formated and easy to understand. Wanted to just leave the comment so the algorithm can do it's thing :D

I do not understand how a 2 minute video can feel like a 10 minute video, the info density is insane
These types of funky basslines are some of my fave things to add in a song, groovin' to the beat right now :D
