Awww, this homage to this awesome film is perfection!!! Loving the creepy walkers. Now it makes me think of The Walking Dead with Morgan looking out the boarded up window at his zombie wife who is trying to get back in her house. ❤❤❤❤❤
Sinister, great channel!!!! I love your VA beach zombie outbreak. I am also form the Hampton Roads area. From the 2004 Dawn of the Dead, Could you please do the neighborhood's deterioration from Ana's point of view from the films first 10 minutes and also looking down on the parking lot from the roof of the Crossroads mall, as the zombie horde slowly grows? Thank you.
Now that we have reach this level of UE5 inmersion, I would like to see you try with a Dawn of the Dead ambience. You could maybe take some inspiration on the Dead Rising games but the idea of 1 hour ambiece of a mall full of zombies sounds really nice
I'll get there one day. Need to get a better video card. My card can barely handle doing a small scene like NOTLD. Dawn would be a huge indoor mall scene. I have a 1070ti right now. Would need to get a RTX3090 which is $1000+
That line was originally from the 1978 Dawn of the Dead, spoken by the same actor, Ken Foree. His character, Peter, was repeating something that his grandfather, who was a voodoo priest from Trinidad, had told him when he was a kid.
This is so scary. I don’t know what this is based off of, so I didn’t know what to expect. A minute in or so, when I saw the walker just slightly out of the right window, I was shocked and terrified. This is so realistic. Gonna go cry myself to sleep.
What an awesome video!!! I love all the small details that really put me in there. Also, when I could see the zombies in the window! I had to take a double take, ngl that freaked me out for a moment and I loved that!
@@sinistervids71 Yes I am a fan of 68's night of the living dead. I also have the prequel comic by Mike Wolfer an John Russo. An interesting job. Have a good day.
Amazing work. The ambience is like you are there. This movie is one of the greatest pieces of art ever, no wonder it went into the Library of Congress, National Film Registry. For me it started when I was a boy with Resident Evil 2 which my older cousin borrowed from a friend on PS1 paved the way for my zombie horror interest. That game opening of Leon and Claire coming into the city . Followed by Resident Evil 3 Nemesis with the RPD, and UBCS putting up a last stand, as the National Guard and US Army closed off the city. Whoa. My mom then got me this on VHS, and this movie was so good, I watched it again the next week. Fun fact the Japanese developers of Resident Evil drew inspiration from George A. Romero and Romero directed the Live Action commercial for the original Resident Evil 2. When you play RE2 remake an amazing game, you can put boards on the windows it is clearly a nod to this, and Dawn of the Dead, as is the hands coming through the boards which happens in NOTLD and DOTD, that it and the original RE2 had, as is the moaning, also in the original RE2, as the opening gas truck crash also in the original, almost a nod to Ben's intro story, as is the hum of helicopters (the helicopter at the end of the Night of the Living Dead, and helicopters play a pivotal role in Dawn of the Dead) also in the original RE2, Leon's lighter in the OG is a reference to Roger's lighter, Hunks gas mask is a reference to the SWAT team in Dawn of the Dead, Leon's uniform look is similar to the SWAT cops in Dawn of the Dead, as is the quiet save rooms with reflective calm music, with a typewriter, notice the news briefs, or rooms devoid of zombies, also in the original, it harkens to the tv room or cellar where they talk, you feel safe, but trapped. This ambience reminds me of what made that movie unsettling. To me in my mind, it's almost scarier as a stand alone film, where after the night and the zombies are hunted down and killed off, in the proceeding weeks, the other undead fall down becoming finally dead, as the space radiation dissipates, and everyone wonders why it happened and will it happen again? It disappears and quickly as it showed up, but for those who lived through it the moans are forever.
This is the best ever seen out of night of the living dead I love the scene of it and just love how this turn out great job on this. This actually my favorite movie I watch it constantly never gets old. Should do poltergeist with Carol Anne in the bedroom or by the TV it'll make my day for sure
@@sinistervids71 That's great. I always imagined it like one of those round mirrors up in the corner of the room showing Rick in bed and the rear window.
I make you listen to my outbreak story, and then I don't want to listen to yours. SLAP! Now let me find you some shoes. I know that I will be alone on this, but could you please make a Don't Tell Mom The Babysitter Is Dead?
This us so cool !!!! NOTLD (1968) is by faar the scariest possibility & scariest position & scariest situation u could ever dream up!!!! Just imagine living in the 1960's on a farmhouse ten miles from town in the middle of the night with a group of racist idiots that can't work together & nobody really has any real weapons & the fact that the term & idea of a "zombie" didn't even exist yet & never even knowing what would u actually do if dead corpses from the the earth actually came back up from the ground & wanted to eat only ur human flesh???? Yeah i bet nobody looks at this movie like that do they??? This the scariest outcome that ever existed in a horror film & because it actually seems possible don't it????
Dude, you covered all three acts of the movie in one sitting! Very clever and atmospheric, great job :D

“We beat em off and blasted them down.”

Thanks so much!
Perfect for halloween vibes... the soothing sounds of a zombie apocalypse.
Thanks one of my favorites 🤟💀🎃
This is pure masterpiece because Night of the Living Dead is my Favorite Movie!!!
You are an awesome person for making this!!!!
Thanks! Night is one of my favs too!
It's a shame that none of the stars of the film went on to a bigger acting career.
They are coming for you Barbara.

That house reminds of me of flash game The House 2
Reminds me of a televangelist in Dawn of the dead says "when there's no more room in hell, the dead will walk on earth".

You definitely should do ambience videos for 1990 Night, both 78 and 04 Dawn, and 85 Day. Each would be pretty fun in their own ways.
One of these days I will
@@sinistervids71omg yessss please!! The 70s mall zombie atmosphere!!
