I am glad you have started shooting groups at 100 yds. Keep it up. 50yds does not really tell one much. Cyclops Joe tried 100 yds. BTW my H&R 12 is a copy of the 52 for the most part. Cyclops Joe still has a problem short stroking the bolt on his Bergara. The problem is too much hair gel on his right hand.
I SHOOIT MY WINCHESTER 52 B WITH LYMAN IRON SIGHTS @100 and 200 yds all the time with no difficulty and I am m,uch older than you.older than you. Good video!
I like this...you did well with the peep & globe. I hope you get the others to shoot at 100 also, this 50 yard stuff is getting pretty old to watch. I just finished setting up my 100 yard range and building another bench for that lane. The CZ452 is doing very well...haven't tried the WWF 46D at 100 yet. ...😎👍 2
Anyone can shoot 50 yards after our F-Class matches we shoot 2. 100 yard small bore targets at 100 yards 10. shots each prone or bench doesn't matter scoped or not i have seen some 200-19X scores. My best has been 200/16X Call Out the Gang. Some of these kids have no idea how to or have the equipment the equipment to shoot a prone .22 rifle. I'd imagine Panther Hollow has the know how and maybe even a rifle he's old like us. Callout Walnut and Steel on RUclips he has alot of iron sight rifles and air rifles too. Small channel nice guy and has lots of air rifles and .22s
@@markthegunplumber8376 (Anyone can shoot 50 yards ) < this is true...BUT...being consistent at it is another thing, I guess that's what keeps me entertained here on my home range, challenging myself & being predictable & consistent & with the .22lr....that's a challenge. No tuning the ammo like we do in handoading centerfire...nope, you gotta dance with the gal you brung.

@@308dad8 No I am not…I am implying that 50 yards has been the distance for most all of these friendly challenges….50 yard ‘bug’holes’ can easily turn to 3X that size & that is pretty tough on these Precision shooters EGOS!

I like the Redfield iron sights.
Just an FYI, Lee Shaver has the front inserts back in stock for the Redfield Olympic sight. I ordered LS013 which is the assortment set and the LS104 which is the round aperture set. $25 per set.

Redfield Olympic Sights - Buffalo Arms has a couple of different packages of sights like you’re looking for, I bought some for my 40X w/ Redfields and they were exactly what I wanted. Their staff is pretty helpful also, good people.
What is that target you’re shooting at? Is there a link so we can print them at home?
Have you tried weight sorting these rounds? I suspect that a lot of the flyers could be minimized with weight sorting. Just a thought. Subscribed by the way. Like your style and content sir!

How did you attach the bipod to the Winchester Model 52C?
98 / 4x with that Remington. I think the ammo your using is fine. I couldn't believe 6 shots went in 2 holes, all of which BTW went in the 10 ring.
You never forget the fundamentals Marine, even at my age of 55 Iron sights from my M1, M14, DCMM16A2 an know my FVT .22
I do have two sets of glasses one for everyday one for range.

I have a 52-C and it's a one-ragged-hole rifle. At 50 yards! I've never tried it at 100 yards....yet. But now I have to!!
Don't have any Eley anymore but might have to find some...$$$.

I love the family shoots. Try the 52C at 50 and 100 yards. My best at 100 has been 1.25" with iron sights.
Shot my 52D this evening with some Lapua CenterX at 50 yards. It really seemed to shine but the gun wasn’t as tight with Eley 10x.

Elijah..You need to put a good 36X scope on that Winchester and then shoot it against your 40X.. It shoots a lot better with a good scope.. By the way great iron sights shooting..

I think the 52C for the win. Maybe more consistent? Maybe the 40x need a different lot of ammo. 40x should shoot under MOA at 100y
