Hell of a paint job on rooster between both father & son, then y'all blow my mind away when I hear my favorite truck the air force truck, with that beautiful sounding screaming demon engine, man Braxton impresses me more & more on how he's just taking it all in learning more every single day, excellent job on how you handled that screaming demon by the brax, but dad had to come show yah exactly how it's done, I've always said from day one when I saw the first video of the air force truck this is gonna be a bada**, I can't wait for what's next for her I enjoyed the video as always bruh keep em coming please 💯

I know you don't care and it's not a show truck. When I spray things I do it properly. No prep in that at all. I don't know how you can look at it. If that was me I would take my time script it right back and do it again. It would do my head in. Maybe it's my dad he used to say if you don't do it right don't do it at all.
So hard to go back to Tennessee. Robert actually finishes your projects so you don’t have to. If you go back you’ll have to finish them.

Omg they fixed that pesky transmission problem got new turbo in her all she's missing now is the headache rack & the stacks then whatever brax decides as far as color if I remember correctly brax want to keep it simple nothing too crazy this truck is gonna be a show stopper you watch & see

Painted directly over rust. When are you going to at least start using rust converter or etching primer.
@@BillyMays102 He'll find out the hard way after it's first trip and all the paint starts to flake off. I noticed the next level block treatment of burnt grease, rust and paint chips still left on several parts.

You should do a deeper dive into different transmissions and how they work and why.
That transmission is called a 15 speed progressive, it shifts like the brownie in a divorced set of boxes

I like the 13spd Eaton behind a 60 series Detroit which is what my stepdad drove in a 1999 freightliner century class with double bunk. Went to Florida many times when I was younger.

You need to teach Braxton to "feel" the gears as he shifts. Like you, I "feel" my shifts, one-two-three, gear one to neutral to gear two, it's not a "crash" slamming the shifter througfh the gate. But having said that he is one great kid, driving and doing things the way he does much older kids could never achieve. A credit to you and he should be well satisfied with his own progress, not over-proud 'cos that leads to arrogance and disaster down the road, but pleased with what he has and is achieving. Well done with the lovely truck refurbs/rebuilds and well done to Braxton for being such a great part of the team at such an early age!

I always enjoy watching Brax running the old cabover thru the gears, the old Detroit singing always gets the juices flowing.
I too enjoy grinding gears, slipping clutches and missed shifts!
Another good one to be a 10-speed backwards 4hi gears up against the dash that's another good one

We call that a wrap around. My 18 speed I have in my W900L with the 1250hp C-18 cat is the same way, we call it an 18 double over, high gear (17th &18th) against the dash. That truck will pack the left front tire on a hill, and run 134mph on level ground.
@@Stephen-carr my mechanic that has been working for me and my father for 30+ years can explain how he done it better, but he did it the same way he did our 15’s, 13’s, and 8LL’s by flipping the high gear around backwards. Making it higher geared in the high gears, while keeping the same gearing in the lower gears on both the top side, and in the basement. Most my drivers can’t drive them like that, so I only do the ones I only personally drive myself.
I like Rooster just the way he is Brax truck awesome can wait till it’s done too

I have a nice wooden semi truck and trailer that is about 4 feet long, but the builder didn't paint it so it is natural wood. But all the details are there, lights, mud flaps, stacks mirrors, the works. Even the wheels and tires are made of wood. I bought it from Ebay about 15 years ago. I bought the truck first, and then the seller built me the trailer to go with it.

Paint on the frame for Rooster….headed in the right direction! Won’t lie, I’m glad to see that replacement engine wearing a proper coat of Caterpillar Yellow.
As far as that Silver 6V92T goes, it sounds good for what it is….but yeah, that potential oil-pressure issue would concern me, too. Hopefully it’s just a bad gauge or blockage in the line…..otherwise, surely there’s an 8v92T Silver in Robert’s inventory😂

We all can’t wait but wait! Timmy has never finished a project yet and after three years of watching nothing gets finished. It’s obvious he never will finish a project!
Tell brax to be careful he lets that foot rest on the clutch he will burn it up one of the first things my grandpa taught me. Got get him rpm shifting 😃 definitely can’t wait to hear with those stacks

Those old Detroit’s have always been one of my favorite sounding diesels. Especially the good old V-12’s with the twin superchargers and turbos. They had a very unique (awesome)sound that couldn’t be mistaken for anything else.

Roosters signature look is just as she sits. Don't change anything but msybe a fresh paint job when the time comes
🤭never paint the core on radiators. Actually, not supposed to paint it at all for cooling reasons. One of the few things you need to leave raw naked. 👌😉👍check out the radiator experts. Nice job on the frame. Much better than the rattle can. I'd like to see you powder coat an ENTIRE TRUCK , every single part including nuts bolts washers ALL of it. Be the longest lasting truck in the world.👌😉👍
