I have found that the most effective way is to use blank newsprint. On Amazon it is only about $5.60 for 500 sheets. It is so much easier to use, rips out easily and can be run through the printer. For me, it is the perfect solution. And great for making miniatures too. Don't forget to use a shorter stitch length. On my machine, a regular stitch length is 2.5, for FPP I use a stitch length of 1.5. Also do not use steam at any time while ironing the fabric with the paper attached. Hope this helps you also.
