Loved this! 😁 My husband humored me and watched with me so he could answer the questions too--he did a good job! Not quite as good as Kent, but he knows a lot. Here's to supportive partners who pay attention to our hobbies! 🥰
Love it! When you asked what fiber Kent would want a sweater made out of my husband shouted "cashmere!" 😂😂😂 I didn't even realize he was listening to the video.
Y’all were asking a few tough questions but I was impressed how much he knew. My husband hardly can tell the difference between a hook and needles. Kudos to all our husbands who feed our yarny habits. Great job Kent. Donkey Kong was fantastic!
I love that yall did this, it was so fun. Kent, you're such a great sport for doing it. And you know alot more than most husband's about their wife's yarn passion!!! Great job 🎉
I love this so much!....,,My husband actually buys alot of My yarn for me ,as he delivers heating fuel 2 hours away, where a few of the yarn shops are.....the ladies there think it's so awesome that he goes in and picks out My sock yarn/ needles......lol,....so I really enjoyed this!..He did amazing!...How could he not though?!...excellent show...❤❤❤❤
This was such a fun video! Kent is such a good sport to do this and is in fact very knowledgeable ! I have been knitting for years and my husband would know nothing if asked!! Thank you Kent- you are very much appreciated x
Worsted spun is when the fibers are all lined up in the same direction during spinning, parallel to the yarn. Woolen spun is when the fibers are going in all different directions when spun.
And worsted spun ends in a denser, more durable yarn. Woolen ends in a lighter, airy, fluffy, warm yarn that has air pockets that trap warmth but also pills more readily.
You two are so great together. I am impressed with Kent's knowledge of knitting and fibers. Wow. You both have such a great thing going with your videos and all you have done for the knitting/crocheting fiber industry. I love all your videos. ❤
I love that Kent’s answer to my question “what is a Niddy Noddy?” Is “your evil alternative” 😂😂 Good job Kent! Also mostly spinners use Niddy Noddys so that may have been a bit unfair
This was hilarious! My favorite part was Natalie trying to show what “slip” was 😂 you two kept me company during my cleaning the house today. It was a lot more enjoyable laughing along with you!
You two remind me, although you are younger, of my wonderful son and dil relationship. They just left to head home to Oregon after visiting me in NC. For my 80th birthday.
That's funny that he started at bulky. I have never heard anyone start from that point. I usually hear lace up to super bulky. 0 to 6 in size. It's always interesting to hear how people see and hear something.
I absolutely love seeing you both on camera. It's double the fun! Kent, you did so great answering all of those questions. Natalie, you always do a wonderful job as an interviewer. I'm wondering, where might I see you being the interviewee? I mean, I'd love to see you two interviewed on Kelly & Mark, The Kelly Clarkson Show, The Jennifer Hudson Show or something similar. Love you guys. Please, keep up the great work! ✌️🩷🧶🧦
This was fun. It made me wonder how much Doug would know. I think less than Kent. I also enjoyed this on a different level since spending time with both of you.
This was so much fun! I watched with my husband and pressed the pause button so he could answer the questions before Kent. He did pretty well, but not quite as well as Kent. 😅 I succumbed to a Facebook ad a while back and bought a Delve Deck, a set of cards that you can draw from, that are prompts to ask questions of each other. We started using them on our van camping trips. I think you might enjoy them.
I started laughing so hard just after Kent answered "my wife" because my husband had just walked out of my craft room (while I was watching) and said "my wife" at the same time as Kent!! This episode was just the best! I am curious if the two of you will feel bittersweet when you come to the last state on your yearlong journey? or will you be ready to get into a forever home?
This was so interesting. It's cool to see how he absorbed so much knowledge without having picked up a needle. You have to do a video where you teach him to knit a scarf next.
Don't feel bad about the Tessellated sweater! As beautiful as it is, I found it very fiddly and did not enjoy the knitting. I frogged the sweater shortly after casting on. I did a little better with the socks, but they've been in hibernation since last November! Kent, great answers all the way around :-)
Kendall from 316 Dye Studio here. I've chatted with a lot of knitting husbands over the years. Kent did really well with this, you've trained him well, or it's just years of osmosis like in my case. LOL
worsted spin is smoother, more compact and therefore weighs more per yardage. woolen spin is fluffier, less compact and weighs less per yardage and will be warmer as more air is trapped for comparing for the same yarn size(e.i fingering weight)
Adorable! What's your favorite thing to look at in a yarn store: My wife! GOOD ANSWER KENT!!
He was really proud of himself for that answer lol
Best answer EVER!!!!
I agree!
There was no hesitation in his reply.
What a wonderful husband! He drives while you knit, takes you to the yarn shops and loves you unconditionally. And he's excited for Rhinebeck!
You can tell Kent really pays attention during all those yarn store tours and interviews! I was surprised how much he knew.
This was so fun. Kent’s fiber arts knowledge is impressive. And the Donkey Kong answer 😂
I love when Kent is on episodes. You have the most diverse you tube content. I just love it.
"Donkey Kong" for DK was my favorite answer and made me laugh so hard. Always thinking about games!
You knocked it out of the park Kent! And, yes, always swatch or the evil knitty noddy will come for you😂
Loved this! 😁 My husband humored me and watched with me so he could answer the questions too--he did a good job! Not quite as good as Kent, but he knows a lot. Here's to supportive partners who pay attention to our hobbies! 🥰
Aww that is so sweet! It really is such a supportive thing!
Love it! When you asked what fiber Kent would want a sweater made out of my husband shouted "cashmere!" 😂😂😂 I didn't even realize he was listening to the video.
I am here for Nat working so hard to have Kent get them. And also for how much Kent has absorbed in all his editing and travel with her.
I AM ALSO HERE FOR KENT AND WOW. Nice work Kent. Represent the gamers.
It proves that he actually listen to her and this is so special and rare.
Love Evil alternative and how quickly Kent said his favorite sock blend. That made my day. So cool. Thanks y’all for this it was great!
Y'all are so cute, thanks for playing along Kent!
Kent definitely needs a spot in the van graphic! Adorable, you guys!!
OMG cutest answer ever - what does he like to look at most in a yarn store -- "my wife" -- 🥰 such a fun episode.
Y’all were asking a few tough questions but I was impressed how much he knew. My husband hardly can tell the difference between a hook and needles. Kudos to all our husbands who feed our yarny habits. Great job Kent. Donkey Kong was fantastic!
“Evil alternative” is the best answer 😂😂😂😂
Fantastic job Kent!
I love to watch you both together. ❤

So impressive Kent. That was fun 😂 you two are such a great couple !
Wow Kent! Good job!
He obviously really pays attention. I’m impressed. 👏🏼👏🏼🙌🏽
My husband and I played along at home and he did really well, about the same as Kent. I was very impressed.
Great job Kent! I know you say you don’t want a sweater Kent, but I can totally see you rocking a cable cardigan in either worsted or aran weight.
Love love love love love this! Thank you, Kent!!
So fun to watch! ❤❤ 34:22
Donkey Kong (DK), that is what is shall forever be for me now. Keep on smiling & exploring the world of fiber together
😂😂 Kent knew more than me!! Love his shirt go Rangers!
Impressive Kent! Looking forward to meeting you both in RI. ☀️🕶️
This was such a fun video! Kent is such a good sport to do this and is in fact very knowledgeable ! I have been knitting for years and my husband would know nothing if asked!! Thank you Kent- you are very much appreciated x
I am so impressed by Kent's knitting and yarn knowledge!!😁😁😁 👏👏👏
Knit is a stitch and crochet is knots. That pretty much sums it up to me lol. I'm using that next time someone asks me that!!!!🎉
I haven't finished the video yet but I just had to come here to state the obvious: he's a keeper 😁
Wise words from Kent “anything with hair you can knit”.
Great job Kent!! I love your t-shirt.

Bravo Kent!!!! You did good! Love how supportive you are of Natalie on this amazing adventure you are on ❤
I love that Kent’s answer to my question “what is a Niddy Noddy?” Is “your evil alternative” 😂😂

Now I really want a video of Kent winding a ball of yarn 😆 I like the driving the hank to Bliss answer best.
Love you guys! You are so sweet together, and I love that dk means Donket Kong to Kent❤️
You two remind me, although you are younger, of my wonderful son and dil relationship. They just left to head home to Oregon after visiting me in NC. For my 80th birthday.
So cute candy fun. Way to go Kent!! Your knowledge is impressive!! It’s so nice how supportive you are. 🧶💖🧶
Way to go Kent, you rocked the quiz…
You two are so adorable!
Wow go Kent 😊 Natalie now you for sure that he does listen and does take notice of what you do 😊Well done Kent 😊
Wow, Kent is absolutely amazing in knitting knowledge! I'm a knitter and crochet, but the most questions I didn't answer 😂 😂
I love it! He's got some pretty extensive knowledge for a non-knitter/crocheter.
Kent is such a good sport! 🙂

That was fun! Kent has picked up a lot on your grand adventure. Well done!
He did awesome!
This was fun. It made me wonder how much Doug would know. I think less than Kent. I also enjoyed this on a different level since spending time with both of you.

Only 5 minutes in and I’m impressed!!!
aww thanks! I will tell Kent that!
Great job, Kent!! My question was the speed run naming fibers, so fun to watch 🤩 excited to see the next and final leg of the journey 🥳
So fun you two!! Thanks for sharing yourselves with us!!
Such a cutie episode 🥰! I'm very impressed by Kent's Knowledge👏 . But also not being english native it was fun to test myself too 😄.
Thanks for being a good sport Kent! You seem like a great guy.
Good knowledge Kent! Some of the questions I don’t even know 😂
Kent 85/15 is my favorite base for socks 🤣
Niddy noddy, your evil alternative 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Honestly I'm impressed Kent, well done!
😅😅😅
Well done Kent! Super impressed.
Great episode!
He is a good sport😂

I am impressed
Excellent job Kent.
Finally got around to watching. My son said Donkey Kong too!
"Meet the Parents moment"- 🤣 🤣 I am DYING, LOL! Thanks for that.
Fantastic job Kent!!!!
A niddy noddy is more for spinners, to wind your plied yarn into a skein, I think it's technically a hank but I've always called then skeins x
I play WoW too! It's going to eat into my knitting time lol
This was so interesting. It's cool to see how he absorbed so much knowledge without having picked up a needle. You have to do a video where you teach him to knit a scarf next.
We've thought about that! I think he's happy to let the knitting be my "thing"
Great job kent .i beat toaster was happy to see you guys
Impressive knowledge Kent!
What a fun episode! I kept yelling at the screen, Musselboro!!!
Go Kent! Next step: knitting with needles
Kent - the knitting guru!
haha he did good right?!
@@KnittyNatty He really did!
Kent is impressive. Maybe he will start knitting soon!
Kendall from 316 Dye Studio here. I've chatted with a lot of knitting husbands over the years. Kent did really well with this, you've trained him well, or it's just years of osmosis like in my case. LOL
Hey Kendall!! Haha totally osmosis!
This has been so much fun! 😄
I loved the meat the parents reference!
Hey Kent! WoW player AND knitter here! I'll knit while flying or on boats in game XD
That's smart!
Thanks Kent! 😂
Very nice!!!
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼Kent
Great job Kent! I’m surprised you didn’t name the hats Nat made for you as a favorite.
Oh yeah!!
Loved the angora rabbit yarn from Maui favorite. I knit my daughter a cowl from rabbit angora while visiting her in Maui per her request🌴🌺🌴
Wow! That's so awesome!
niddy noddy is mostly used in spinning.
What knitting needle set were you referring to?
You two are adorable! I am impressed how much you know about the world of yarn, Kent. I am looking forward to the rest of your trip.
What’s your favorite thing to look at in a yarn store?
Kent: My wife 😏
Only acceptable answer 😂
Hello from Swansea, Illinois.
worsted spin is smoother, more compact and therefore weighs more per yardage. woolen spin is fluffier, less compact and weighs less per yardage and will be warmer as more air is trapped for comparing for the same yarn size(e.i fingering weight)
Thank you!!
