The family missed their 2005 court hearing AND the service member didn’t file the necessary documents for spousal visa and/or eventually heading to her green card. Just like all government programs like DACA eventually they will all end. It is the parents’ responsibility, then the daughter’s when she is old enough and then the husband to be to fill out the necessary paperwork that goes with becoming a naturalized citizen. My parents all did that with my family, and I’m currently doing it with my own family. They have no excuse.
