Kinkuna NP we have wanted to come back to this spot for the last 2 years !
What a epic little spot! The Double Island of Bundaberg. A cracking beach camping spot just south of Bundaberg, half NP half crown land. We drop the green machine in the drink in search for a few good fish and take the tinny in the creek in search of a few mudcrab.

One of the softest beaches you will every drive on, take the bundy end track next time its all mine road and about 500m of sand track to the beach.

Kinkuna’s a beautiful spot. You can drive north up to Coonarr creek and fish from there.
But can’t actually cross the creek. On the other side is Coonarr and yes you can’t drive on the beach anymore. Then it’s Elliott Heads, and it’s a beautiful spot.

Awesome spot I was up there in January, towed in my camper trailer and that sand can get real soft as u guys found up. Great fishing and no crowds we only saw 4 cars in the 5 days we were there.

Drop your tires to 15 psi and you will get in there no problems at all we are locals and the biggest mistake a lot of people make is not getting down to 15
You will get a caravan,camper,4wd motor home or any 4x4 or 6x6 in here it’s great here

Had to help an older couple get out of the sand on their way in. 3 tries with some max trax in the end pulled them out. Towed them all the way to the beach they said see u in a week when we try and leave 😂

Yeh I could have gone lower and did on our next trip all a learning lesson. Was my first tome towing a big boat on sand. Love it
@@theexplorelife Good stuff mate I know it’s not always possible but when I am doing long runs up the beach I tried to time it as the tide is going out and I’m not up in the boggy sand not always possible🤙🤠🍺🇦🇺

Is it a case of 4x4 getting to heavy for the sand not the sand its self ? Is it a case of Boat Trailers getting to heavy in the frame work or Case boats getting to heavy ? Or is it a Case 4x4 can handle sand just to much weight people are carrying in the 4x4 plus the boat ?

I've heard you shouldn't deflate the trailer tyres cause they don't get power to them so it only adds resistance on the sand.

That’s wrong. If you leave the pressure on the trailer the wheel won’t rotate as well and it’s like towing a trailer with bricks for wheels, I was struggling to tow my trailer with 26psi in them dropped them to 18psi and i thought I left the trailer behind😂

Obviously to high...i tow my boat down there which is the same size with a 79series...12psi no worries at all. Gotta make it look good for the camera.

Was on 18 all round with toy hauler on back. Would have still got stuck on 12 with the conditions mate. Get what you are saying though. I like to have a little bit more to let out if you do get stuck.
So you’re driving on the beach inside 1hr of high tide. You’re not local. You’re dune vandals. Just wait until the tide goes out and do less damage to the environment and your gear. Hope your sponsors give you a serve!
Dune vandals woo steady on mate no we’re not locals the beach was perfectly fine to drive on until it got soft we didn’t drive on dunes! The high tide takes the whole beach so a few tyre tracks isn’t hurting anyone mate.
