    Spot on guys... I feel the key is to commit to whatever shot you are trying to hit. My miss is a block to the right generally caused by my left hip going high and right shoulder low through impact. Any suggestions?

    thanks for the great video. I have a baby fade and i'm going to try swinging inside right and turn it into a baby draw!
    Thanks for the info on the M1 driver...we all have a brain to decide if we want to buy it or not.
    For those folks thinking that marketing a new product is a "bad" thing or "trying to sell us b/c they are on the payroll", what do you expect a company with a new product to do? Hide it and keep it a secret? Whether the sponsors (Hank) exaggerates or not, we can listen to what they say, try the club and decide for ourselves if this a purchase to make.

      +sontan3124 Thanks for the comment. Glad you liked the information in the video. For us, all we care about is providing you guys with great info. We have a great relationship with TM and they gave us an opportunity to do a video with hank so we jumped at the chance. Thanks again.

    Tiresome listening to people's complaints about TM and M&MG marketing a club. The Tour is full of players wearing the logos on their hats and shirts. I have a TM M1 AND a custom fitted Calloway driver. Both great tools and fully adjustable. Haney had good basic advice. And it didn't cost you a thing. Thanks, Piers.

  • @xander0713

    Taylormade obviously makes great clubs and this driver is also probably very well made; I just highly doubt it's better than the R15. I hit my Cobra a decent distance and it also has very good performance. The clubs are just way too expensive when they first hit the market to upgrade every single year.

  • @henlolneh

    Strong grip with a slice. What would be the main culprit there? This is on a bad miss.

    • @Jonsse
      @Jonsse 9 лет назад

      +danslugs the strong grip is the culprit. Neutral that shit!

    • @henlolneh
      @henlolneh 9 лет назад +1

      +Jonsse I've been tinkering with going way more neutral. When I hit it good, the feedback through the head is way more precise when compared to a stronger grip. The thing is it feels really weird/unstable in my right arm on takeaway when I push it more towards neutral. It's a muscle memory thing for sure but this uneasiness causes me to sort of change paths on the downswing as well as forcing me into a "weak" grip in terms of grip pressure.

    • @xander0713
      @xander0713 9 лет назад

      +danslugs It's probably due mostly to an open face at impact with an out to in club path. I use a strong grip as well and hit some fades from time to time so it's still possible to get that club face open.

    • @Jonsse
      @Jonsse 9 лет назад

      All a strong grip does is move your face left, it will not fix a slice, you can hit a slice just fine with a strong grip. I have a friend who had a strong grip and closed his clubface some 20 degrees and was still hitting a slice. I made him square the face and neutral the hands and he started hitting 20-30 meters further and dead straight the same day. Neutral is always better until you really really know what you're doing.

      +Jacob Warden, I have cured my obstinate slice. At setup, have a stronggrip, lean your upper body slightly to the right and put more weight over the
      inside edge of your right foot. Now I hook or draw my drive

    Love M&MG but I'd like to see fewer videos like this in the future. First, this is a complete TaylorMade infomercial/sales pitch which I doubt anyone needs to hear more of, and 2nd it completely repeats everything Hank Haney has been saying in his sales funnel videos.. Swing out to the right, close the club face before impact. Yeah, we get it Hank.. let's move on now shall we?

    • @meandmygolf.
      @meandmygolf.  9 лет назад +2

      +Sean Daily Hi Sean. Thanks for the comment. We don't mean for this to look like a TM sales pitch. We got invited to he launch and saw an opportunity to do a video with Hank and this was the content that he obviously thought best to put out there. Sorry if this came across that way. We will take that on board for future videos. Thanks for the continued support:)

    • @MrDaryboy
      @MrDaryboy 9 лет назад

      +Sean Daily There are plenty of good tips and advice for better drives (as advertised by the title) Did you just have a bad day and decided to vent a little? OK OK I get it. You don't like TM or their ads. I don't like TM either. Next you'll be bitching when Rory explains how the new Nike can be adjusted to fit. M&MG have tons of vids to help people understand the golf swing and the game. You take one vid where there is a small bit of advertising along with sound advice with any brand of driver and point that out? There we have it, let's move on.

    • @SeanKDaily
      @SeanKDaily 9 лет назад +1

      +Jay Smooth No bad day at all -- in fact was having a great day when I wrote that. The condition of my day, however, is irrelevant to my desire to hear the same golf marketing messages spammed not only on every commercial, but into otherwise good content channels such as M&MG. I fully stand by my comments now as I did then. This kind of vendor crap like a viral infection that spreads, and in this case the presence of it on their channel risks M&MG screwing up their brand (I know this because I am a content marketer by profession and deal with this every day with dozens of brands I represent) so my comments are sincere and are based on wanting to make sure they understand how this type of commercial message is being received by their audience. By the way, my opinion here is by no means unique if you read down the other comments below.. "Is anyone not on Taylormade's payroll" / "This feels like a commercial for Taylor Made brought to you by Hank Haney" being just 2 examples. Lastly, how in the world would you know what I would or would not be "bitching about next"? You don't know me, so don't presume to speak about what I might or might not say about anything on any subject. There, now we can move on.

    This is the state of swing instruction. A swing coach is asked what’s important with the driver and he first talks about adjusting your driver. 🙄 can you imagine what Ben hogan would say?

    Telling people to buy a $500 driver is not a golf tip. It's a sales pitch. Next year, you'll be telling them to buy the next TM driver. Ugh.

  • @abovetherestappliancerepai2317

    Hank looks and sounds frustrated at all times. I wonder if that's is a good for someone paying $650 an hr to learn from him. These people MUST be nice and approachable to lean and pay...
