I very much recommend doing a pressure and vac test on the case before spending a dime, the clutch side bearing and seal setup is no problem to get but you can just about forget getting the combination bearing/seal that is on the flywheel side of the crank. If the case is not tight no carb kit or new carb will turn the saw into a reliable backup. They were fantastic saws though.

Thanks for the tip I have tinkering with mechanical stuff my around here since I was young (out of necessity) never really been great with 2 strokers
