Hey! That's my Almer mater!!!😂 I spent 7 yrs of my academic life in this school. Discipline, academic excellence, determination and achievement have helped shape us all. During our time the 3 streams were named after the neighbouring towns, ie, S - Saltpond, M- Mankessim and K- Kromantse. So you start from Form 1K to 5K accordingly. It's not a convent school but the restrictions then were similar. If you crossed the roundabout where the administration is, that will be the end of your education. 7 yrs there & some of us never went on mid-term because our parents had to consent & if they didn't complete the form you stayed!. It sounds quite draconian but it really wasn't. Because we had each other, and learning was competitive, fun & interspersed with interesting extra curricular activities. You bet by the time you left, you had learnt another Ghanaian language!😂 That's how multi cultural & multi-linguistic we were. If you completed Mfanstiman & didn't know how to scrub, make your bed, wash your clothes and iron your uniform, failed to learn table manners, the value of siestas etc, there was something amiss. Obviously, times have significantly evolved & for the best too. The sch is now real sight to behold, the population is massive, the academic excellence is steadily improving. And hey! the old girls wherever we're, have remained together as MOGANS & are well driven, committed & v proud of our sch. Basically, we're aspiring and acquiring & continue to help each other in diverse ways. Jeez! I'm all covered in goosebumps now, reflecting back😧😧 & teared up but v happy tears!!!😅😅😅 Thanks massively for showcasing this great school. That's a smidgen tribute from a Chinery lass! And yesssss! Purple remains my favourite colour. 😊 Frankly, Mansyte does get under one's skin deeply, I wager! Obra Nye Woara Bo ampa!!!!!😜😜👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾🤛🏾🤛🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

It was reassuring to see the young ladies learning to embrace the beauty/naturalness of our hair texture. It would have been wonderful if the headmistress? would have set the standard by her example. Would planting shade trees and other foliage around buildings enhance comfort for students and staff by helping to decrease the temperature? Placing trees on the east and west sides of buildings would significantly decrease the temperature.
Gorsher: A high school Biology lab with a “a human fetus “. This school has broken a world record. I am in USA and no school here has that as specimen in the lab. The ladies has no size.

Goshers all secondary schools built in 1960 were built under Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah. They all share similar architectural look. Labone Senior High, Accra Girls Senior High, Nsein Senior High School and many others all over Ghana. So Mfanstiman Girls is one of many.
Tweneboah Kodua SHS in Kumawu, Konongo Odumase, Yaa Asantewaa SHS, Techiman SHS, Ghanass in Koforidua, Acherensua SHS, SunSec etc with the same design and it's still looking beautiful

That's not true. Try building a modern desktop computer that has a high processor speed with a huge capacity SSD and come again. Yeah laptops are mobile no doubt but they are not all that.
