I loooove this series, I am always looking forward to it! But I gotta tell you, organize it already! This game calls for permanent decisions, pay attention to how long it takes for you to search for stuff in the container, and also moving buildings.
you can make super alloy in the advanced crafting station, i'd organize each category into its own storage container as it'll be easier to know what you have. when moving stuff over from the old base, take everything out of one storage container at a time, deconstruct the container, place it in the halfway oxygen base, and continue don't forget to build the algae things again, build another water thing since they are needed more rn, also don't forget the biodome
The number of players I watch that completely skip over crafting Super Alloy. They'll search high and low for it, but not spend five minutes crafting it up. Z does typically start crafting it once drones come into play at least.
The new patch notes for the development fork look really great by the way. It makes me hopefully they'll be able to fix the foundation grids so they match the actual buildings, and perhaps provide ramps or stairs that actually, you know, fit the buildings/foundations properly. Lots of great tweaks in the notes they posted yesterday and the day before.
a 3x3 with a shitload of cabinets. each unique item gets its own cabinet. another 3x3 on top of that 3x3. this 3x3 is full of autocrafters, chaining production. Also drones and t3 drills are goated. Rush heat/pressure
You could presumably do a 3x3 triple height with auto crafters in the middle. I've also seen people put algae under it though I think it looks visually a bit cheesy. Due to the way the foundations and stairs don't clip together properly yet, it's hard to do elegant builds though.
Also enjoying the way you play this. Just want to add though that I also started a new game with you and I could mine super alloy with the first extractor, only thing is you need to place it much deeper into the cave. Then it will mine the super alloy. Mine is working fine. It also mines the osmium if you place the extractor close to the upper part of the cave where the ice melts.
Sulfur can be got from the small cave just past the black land zone (were your getting your aluminum) on left, that also happens to be a faster way to your old base. Those 4 pressure machines you left behind consume almost as much power as a T4 drill.. and it'd take 27 - T3's to equal 1 - T4.. just sayn' I know the base move haul can be a pain but the time you spent trying to cherry pick your full inventory you could've made 2 trips.. probably 3 if you used the faster route
Until you get T2 Ore Extractors your best source of nuclear power is either to scour the map for Golden Crates or to send up an Asteroid Attraction Rocket. There is a cave north east of your base that contains Sulphur and Osmium (and Iridium once the ice melts).
You can go through the area by going through the stars biome, which is to the left of the lake near your first base (go left through that crevasse then right at the end, through a cave)
I always wait until I unlock T2 lockers and 3x3 base parts before I build my main base. I just expand my start base with disorganized T1 lockers all over the place.
I love the Planet Crafter series...but the tech nerd in me cringes every time I see your screens on the floor. I know you can't, but I'm constantly in fear of your falling on or kicking one of them and busting it. 😂😂😂
i watched another youtuber playing this game and he can stack items up to 10 of the same items in the same slot. i believe that would so helpful for you to do that
If epic games launcher or PlayStation store had this game for free in its full release i would gladly get it and get to work on getting the best stuff and base for the game

you want to watch him play or tell him how you would? its not a takeout order...

1. Asteroids Attraction Rocket (Uranium Meteor Shower)
2. Magnetic Field Protection Rocket (Iridium Meteor Shower)
3. More Rockets
I swear to god, in the time he wastes in deciding "WHAT TO TAKE" he can literally do 2-3 rounds of moving stuff
you can drop an T1 ore extractor outside your waterfall base and get sulfur from it along with other basic materials.
Please please please please look UP when you are looking at the ice wall in the osmium/zeolite cave. You can already get through.
CTRL, ctrl, ctrl saves sooooo much time when crafting!!!! Also pls use a desk!
you probably should play instead of watching... you seem to know better
Genuinely look forward to this series uploads

Maybe expand your base once the trees pop up, they might swallow your base once they settle in
Also, you can mine sulfur in the area of your base
Latest dev branch update added a new biome and a new blueprint for a device needed to get to the new biome.

You can put an ore extractor in front of the entrance to the waterfall cave to get sulfur.
the "PLANTER" crafter :D Z come on :D
Lol I just noticed
Also enjoying the way you play this.

this is prob a dumb question but why dont you grind launching rockets they do alot for multipliers
Excited for this episode, Z!
osmium caves always have sulfur in them as well :)
Make a plant rocket
I am going on real life logic and have no clue how it is in this game but sulphur and volcanic activity are often related to some degree.

Ah yes, planter crafter

21:28 not crazy you were saying cruising in plane logic that speed is supersonic hope in the future its hypersonic
How about building drills and heaters in the lava area? That way you can pretend it only looks that way because you did it.
there is a bunch of iridium ore, iridium rods and super alloy ore laying around in the crater just west of your waterfall base.
How come I’m always so early to your vids? The algorithm must like you
there are websites that have map overlays showing where all the non-randomized stuff is which can greatly help speed up things.
You have to use All those seeds no matter The percentage so that oxygen will skyrocket tremendously
I always wait until I unlock T2 lockers and 3x3 base parts before I build my main base. I just expand my start base with disorganized T1 lockers all over the place.
I’m praying that he will realize this game has a map.
It might be closer but I think you can get sulphur in the volcano area if I remember right.
Please use the ice in your storage, if you have access to limitless water, you don’t need the ice.
PLEASE make a desk for your screens?
Planter crafter
Nice
Thanks
Loving this revisit to Planet Crafter, but when do you think you'll be able to go back to Subnautica?
I'm dumb so please explain why you want everything near your base affecting frame rate if pressure drills and nuke plants are not near main base
Please, organize your stuff already. Just click sort. My brain itching every time you look through stuff.
I love the Planet Crafter series...but the tech nerd in me cringes every time I see your screens on the floor. I know you can't, but I'm constantly in fear of your falling on or kicking one of them and busting it. 😂😂😂
5 episodes later he finally upgrades the o2 tank....lol
When will you find out you didin't craft the better oxygen tank?
Hello Z
Hi
It really hurts my soul that he just drops resources rather than storing them for another run.
Is it me or is the title actually written planter crafter?
i watched another youtuber playing this game and he can stack items up to 10 of the same items in the same slot. i believe that would so helpful for you to do that
That's a mod. This is a vanilla playthrough
Spelled it wrong 🤪
1st!

Developers need to eat. If you want to play the full game, then buy it. Or they have a free demo.
