'Bought a used KLX/DRZ110 for my son almost 20 years ago; he learned to ride motorcycles on that low-buck automatic. It's in a shed in Maine, used in Summer, we still have the thing- if an MC novice rider-to-be visits and wants an introduction to motorcycling it gets pressed into service as a pit bike. I bought a 4-speed shift drum and a new cam and intake for it back in the day, but never installed the shift drum; too much work. Now that I don't really use the bike anymore it may be a nice relaxing little project. It would have made the bike more useful years ago for those time swe needed to take a higher-speed jaunt on a back road between trails!

Hmmm. Yeah. I suspect there just isn’t a big need for that 4th gear on a 110. 😂
