    Great video!
    At 13:03 you mention the S.BUS Range -- it does (indirectly) apply to a TX16S, you will likely want to run "Wide".
    There is a little bit of background context to this. During testing, we found that various receivers that were outputting S.BUS had differing ranges for their output. Futaba and VControl (and I'm sure other radios) use a "narrow" range, whereas an ELRS or FrSky receiver when configured to output S.BUS output a "wide" range.
    If using a Futaba radio or a VControl with VLink RX speaking S.BUS, you will want to be set to "Futaba", otherwise, "Wide" is the way to go.
    One easy way to tell whether you need to change that range or not is to look for binding of the servo arms -- the stock flight controller settings of the M2 EVO MK2 will not allow for binding -- if set to "Futaba" mode and you observe binding at full stick throw (at max or min collective), this can be an indication that the mode needs to be switched to Wide.
    The current default in firmware is set to Futaba; however, we will be changing this default in a future (yet-to-be-released) firmware update soon.
    I may make a video explaining the differences soon.

      Thanks for watching! I really appreciate that explanation, I will for sure repost that video if you make it.

    Great explanations! You nailed it again! I agree with it being quieter on the tail! I had the same feeling from the first flight and I had my "original" M2 EVO MK2 with me and heard this in alternate back to back flights! I love my MK2 and it's out every day on the field even now in winter with freezing temparatures.

    I'd really love flying my M-2, but it has a tendency to wander to the left. I know that's tunable, but man, I've kind of abandoned it in favor of a new Goosky S-2, cuz it has the bluetooth setup, and THAT makes a WORLD of difference! So glad to see they've come out with the bluetooth for this one now so I can revisit that one. I'd like to get the upgrade package for my M-2 instead of have to by a whole new heli.
    12:26...Yeah man...now THAT's the dealio right there! That app looks great..

      Thanks for watching! Most helicopters will wonder to the left due to P factor ( torque). If you look at a helicopter in the air it will be leaning when completely still. You definitely need to try out the MK2 it is THE BEST flying micro heli on the market and blows away the competition!

    Ordered one of these from you the day you made this LOL. Matthias talked me into one of these little ankle biters! I am interested to see how it flys, smallest thing I fly is 420. Sure have heard great things about OMP in general. thanks for the video! Peace!

      Thanks for watching! Yes, there will be a upgrade kit. They wanted to get the heli kits out first the upgrade kit will be coming soon. There is no exact date on it yet.

    Looks good …. I’ve been pretty happy with my m2 evo. Only issue is I can’t seem to hold steady in a hover, it’s like a yo-yo . lol. Probably my lazy thumb. Larger Heli’s don’t seem to do that. Really thinking about the mk2

      Maybe a dead-zone built into your flight controller? Had the same issue with my M1, had to mix it out with my radio.

      @nsbob70 3 дня назад

      Same here but was able to tune that out to mellow it a bit in the radio programming on my Spektrum NX-8 in the pitch curve. My M-1 did the same thing too. SUPER Sensitive! Was almost scary!

      @rcmanicmd 3 дня назад

      @@nsbob70 Thats funny. I found it wasn't sensitive enough! The dead zone was causing me to overcorrect to get a response, hence the yo-yo effect. Thats what's great about the hobby, different strokes for different folks 😁

      I don’t know if it’s because too sensitive or not sensitive enough. Could be that dead zone because it seems I’m behind on my inputs. It’s my only little Heli and thought it was just a characteristic of the small ones.

      Thanks for watching! The MK2 it definitely more tunable to your personal preferences. It flies very similar to my M7 with this new flight controller on it.
