I just took a walk and focused on lifting my head upwards and it helped. Old habits hard to break

My neck wasn’t as week went to physical therapy months ago and told me to do that. Sad part is we know our bodies but professionals don’t listen.

Sending a big thank you to you and your channel. You deserve a much larger following.
I have been fighting serious neck tension and pain for going on 8 months now. I started doing chin tucks as it was recommended by so many different doctors/chiropractors, and I always felt like the pain was getting worse after doing them; this video gives me the proper perspective.
This whole time I have been trying to push my neck and shoulders back, forcing through exercises and stretches.
There's a place of alignment and relief, but it really is a matter of training my body and mind to stay there and not go back to my muscle memory. It's strange because the perfect alignment where my head and spine are just there with gravity feels weird, but it's so much less painful!
Thank you so much for this and all you do.

Nice! Having good posture should not be so complicated

Great video! I never committed to trying chin tucks because it just felt completely forced and not natural as well as just forcing a double chin/ shortened chin look which is not good looking.
I’ve recently learned about the problems with mouth breathing and have been trying out mewing which is all breathing through the nose with your tongue on your upper palate. This seems to force a better posture and helps strengthen the air way and be more vertical
Worth checking out as an additional postural change

Good video! Sensible tips that don't require a home gym to perform them. Thanks.

Yes there is so much terrible advice online about posture, losing weight... "Professionals" don't really want to help us instead they want to take our money and keep on taking it... This video is just one of them - it will not help you.

@@tongobong1 no it says feel like something is pulling your head instead of pushing it back, with adding exercises too 😉, I have a really bad posture and neck hump still not fully fixed yet, you have to do core exercise and back

@@posturechiro I tried 100 exercises that I got online and nothing worked. I tried 10 diets and nothing worked until I found the truth about losing weight and I didn't get it online. I have enough of online charlatans.
