There currently is no music video for this song only a lyric video. This is the first time they performed this song live so therefore this is also the first time any of us saw choreography for this. So this was a debut live performance.

Yes you can use them outside of live concerts.
There is a phone app you download that allows you to use it in ‘Concert Mode’ or ‘Manual Mode’
• Both modes use Bluetooth
With ‘Concert Mode’ :
• During live concerts you can sync to your seat. (There is an employee that changes everyones colors & flashing to go with the songs, they also make shapes & words using multiple Army b0mbs)
• this mode also allows you to sync to music videos on the Weverse App.
With ‘Manual Mode’ :
• You pick colors from a color wheel, & the army b0mb stays on that color until you pick another color

@@chalychazkhia6168 The original has a chip and a bluetooth connection. There is an app to download and there you put in your seat number and now you are part of the light performance.
I think you can sinc up to MVs as well (I have yet to buy an Army Bomb and try it)

I usually watch your Pentatonix reactions. It's been a while, hasn't it? They haven't released any new song for some timw. I'm excited for their upcoming album.
BTS does use vocal backing tracks, but I feel like they use it in a very honest way. They don't hide the fact they're using it, and they don't lip-sync. They either sing live over it, or they don't sing at all. When they have to do choreography, they simply stop singing (not moving their lips, hand-held mics away from their mouths, noticeable difference in volume). For example, at the end of Run BTS, RM skipped the last "run beautiful" before his final "RUN" because he had to do the running move choreography.

I’ve got so much “homework” to do! 🤣
I was like Carrie when I discovered BTS in 2019. Binged-watch every night with very little sleep from June to October 😂 React to 'Born Singer'. The song, (an adaptation of J.Cole's Born Sinner) is so good, from 2013 a few months after debut, about their struggle back then, their personal story. My favorite is their emotional performance from 2015 live tour (I think there's only 1 fancam with lyrics on mar21 channel). They only this year released it in their anthology album Proof, so there's a more recent performance live outside in Las Vegas desert. We love people recruiting more Armys 💜 I did the same to my sister and now she's more hardcore Army than I am. Lol. Looking forward to more BTS. Thanks for reaction. Hello! I love both of your energy! I think that BTS sounds best when they are doing live shows. So for the next one I really recommend you to check out their PROOF: Live on their youtube channel. There’s 3 songs in the setlist with Anderson Paak as a guest star! I think the songs displayed there are also opposites to what your reacted here so that’ll be a nice introduction to other sounds in BTS’ discography.

Whether they wear the headsets or carry their mics could be personal choice, or it could be if something is not working.There is no Run BTS music video. They usually only release a pre-release and a title track music video for their albums. sometimes they do more, like with Map of the Soul:7 they released Black Swan as a pre-release, then they released Interlude: Shadow, Outro: EGO, and ON, as well as ON: Kinetic Manifesto Film. But usually it's just two. Also Intro: Persona was released for Map of the Soul: Persona, but included on Map of the Soul: 7. RUN BTS is from the PROOF anthology album, and they had one MV for the Title track YET TO COME, but three new songs in total. They also released unofficial songs and demos on that, along with their titles tracks over the years, and the members' choices of songs.
You could watch their Proof live video they dropped on their 9 year anniversary (June 13, 2022). it has English subtitles, and it has three songs from the album - Born Singer, Yet To Come, and For Youth, the last song was written for ARMY and connects with another song of theirs - Young Forever, which is a really special song to BTS and ARMY. Their is also a discussion after the second song that they talk about their journey and the album PROOF. It's worth watching. The performances are awesome, no choreography.

I have just returned from two weeks in S Korea and was lucky enough to see them live in Busan. They were incredible. I hope you have an amazing time when you visit- I did. I definitely recommend going to the Hybe BTS Proof exhibition in Seoul- book tickets in advance on line. If you love their energetic choreo then you should definitely react to Not Today mv as well as ON Kinetic Manifesto, but also Black Swan for a complete change of pace. In KPop, they give members “positions”. “Main” is for more skilled, then next follows “Lead”. JHope oversees members choreo synchronization and practices, so he’s know as the dance leader of the team, and he does a really great job (but this is an unofficial title). The official title of main dancer for BTS has been given to both JHope and Jimin from their debut. Jungkook (JK) was given the lead dancer title from the debut as well (along with main vocal and center). And these three members were the “dance line” for a while, but V (Taehyung) was later added to the dance line as well in 2018. As for who is “really” the best dancers, that would be very subjective. All 7 members carry their own unique individual stage presence in different ways. They ALL shine.

A hand held mic adds a layer of dynamic control because you can move it nearer or further as well as modulating your volume and tone. The head mic is a fixed distance, so all the control has to be using vocal technique alone.

Hi! I stumbled upon your video and I haven't seen a reply answering your question regarding the mics, so I thought I'd help a bit 🥰
- The reason why Jin's using a headset/headworn mic during the 1st half of the concert in particular is because his usual handheld mic has a slight damage (the pink one) but in the latter half he used his back up light green handheld mic (assuming that this is because the tech team had to set it up).
- BTS often interchangeably use the headworn and handheld depending on the type of performance. The former is usually used for dance-heavy songs and latter for vocal-heavy songs. The reason is because headworn mics are fixed and you have more freedom in movement, however it has a lower quality than handhelds and there is also the risk of accidentally displacing them, your breathing can be heard (instead when using handhelds, you can just move the mic or your head away), the popping sounds (when pronouncing "pah" like words) is also more prominent. The artist also has to sing louder than usual too (because the volume levels of this type of mic is usually lowered down to minimize noise pick-up) so it is also exhausting for their vocal chords to sing too long in them. Handhelds are better generally for any live performance because of its superior quality and aesthetic but it really depends on the artists/tech/concert director's preferences. They would usually talk this out and suggest which would be better during practice/rehearsals. I think aside from the preference of the rappers, the frequency of the stacatto in their verse makes it more practical for them to use handhelds (rap verse have a lot of popping sounds and sibilance too).
- Their mics and in-ears are custom made and are usually paired designs (either by theme or color) but they switched it up over the years and they seem to keep the older ones too and use them whenever the new ones need repairs.
Common mic, in-ear colors they use:
RM - Blue w/ crystals (Sky Blue In-ear with RM monogram on one side and a cloud on the other) Tho he's been using his new dark blue with purple undertone mic often recently.
Jin - Pink w/ crystals (Glittery Pink In-ears with JIN monogram on one side). He has two mics that he's been using recently, the white one with a small pink butterfly on it and the light green w/ crystals one.
Suga - Black, he has both w/ and w/o crystals I think (Black In-ears with S logo on both sides).
J-Hope - He often changes haha but usually he uses the Red w/ crystals one (Glittery Red In-ears, but I think he's been using the transparent ones recently too). He's been using a white and chrome silver mic the past performances too.
Jimin - Metallic gold (before) and Bronze Gold w/ crystals (now) (Glittery Gold In-ears).
V - Green for both mic and in-ears, minimal style. I think he switched to a red mic and in-ear pair early this year tho.
Jungkook - Purple w/ crystals (Purple In-ears w/ BTS logo on one side and ARMY logo on the other).

There are the original BTS videos for us to watch as many times as we want and raise their numbers. Welcome to the ARMY. We are so glad whenever someone starts listening to BTS. It will be an amazing journey. Jin´s pink mic broke before the concert, and also he was sick that day. Maybe the headmic helped him a little. In the original version, RM says: "Live a life man" but here he said it stronger: "Live a life suck***s" cause we know to whom they are dedicating this at this precise time. Oh the RUN choreo is extraordinary!! It is one of their best.

I love Mic Drop and have had great performances from it, but this one topped them. The live band gave it a great vibe.
Run BTS doesn't have an MV (don't confuse with Run which does have but they are different songs) and it was even the first time they performed it. They commented that the choreography is very complicated.

RM - blue
Jin - pink
SUGA - black
j-hope - red
Jimin - gold
V - green
Jungkook - purple
Some of them changed it up recently (since PTD or Butter era, not quite sure), with j-hope using mint or white and V using grey or red.
Also, their in-ears colour-match their mics, presumably to make it easier to coordinate for the technic crew.
Yes, and I would add that Jin's mic pink mic was damaged right before this show, so we think that may be why he used the hands-free kind for some of this show. Also, grey was V's interim mic, between green and red. He switched/added red for the Proof promotions. His first time using the red mic/in-ears, the in-ears were shocking his ear (during the Fact Music Awards performance), but apparently they were fixed because he used them again in Busan.
RUN BTS was released June 2022.
I wonder if Jin's hand is still bothering him... ie the head mic.

Jin's handheld mic broke/malfunctioned during rehearsals so he had to use a head set when performing
Liking your reaction - pause as often as you like! Mic Drop is a clap-back at haters in the hip hop world, formerly "friends" that RM worked with who abused him and Suga, accusing them of selling out Hip hop by becoming idols. Where are they now ... well, few people know. BTS gets (and always did get) a lot of hate. Other fandoms accuse them of lip syncing in concert, so that's why Suga goes quiet --- AEMY steps in! BTS are rubbsh at lip syncing anyway - it's pretty pathetic tbh.
In Mic Drop, they have hand mics, because in the original, there are actual mics dropped - see the MV for the Steve Aoki remix. Jin has a headset here (I think) because in Run BTS he has to catch a scarf, and might need to use either hand - avoid business switching mic and keep it all neat and clean. Run BTS is mind bending. I think it is harder than On or Dionysus - but yep, he needs to see them!
BTS do not think of the backup dancers as "backup" - they are dancers, and part of the team. If you watch them a lot you'll see the relationships. I love it.
Run BTS is a collection of their memories of their early days as trainees and new debuts. Idols all have a hard training, but because Big Hit was short of money, BTS had a particularly hard time - and they knew they had to succeed to bring money into the company so people (including them) could keep their jobs. It's one of my favourite performances, and songs.
I recommend you (and all new ARMYs) check out all the fanmade documentaries. The most up to date is Taylor's one ... Introduction to BTS : the Bangtan 7. We'll watch it with you. Also check out the others too - so much information!
Don’t forget Jin had surgery on his hand so he might cannot grip to the mic tightly for the amount of movement he’s gonna have to do with the Choreo so he can keep a grip on the mic in his hands for so long
Awesome Reaction! BTS is always Top Notch. All the BTS members are awesome, but V is on beast mode. This is my first time watching you and if you have not watched "ON" Kinetic Manifesto Film then you will be blown away.
Fun Fact: I think I heard you say purple is your favorite color and I see purple as your backdrop. Purple is BTS official color and Kim Taehyung aka V came up with the saying "I purple You" or Borahae. These terms are heavily used by ARMY and a lot of major companies use it too like UNICEF, Starbucks, Samsung, Mcdonalds, Fila, Snickers and etc.

The main dancer is jhope..jungkook(the strongest dancer) and jimin and Taehyung are the lead dancers..just for a little correction
In KPop, they give members “positions”. “Main” is for more skilled, then next follows “Lead”. JHope oversees members choreo synchronization and practices, so he’s know as the dance leader of the team, and he does a really great job (but this is an unofficial title). The official title of main dancer for BTS has been given to both JHope and Jimin from their debut. Jungkook (JK) was given the lead dancer title from the debut as well (along with main vocal and center). And these three members were the “dance line” for a while, but V (Taehyung) was later added to the dance line as well in 2018. As for who is “really” the best dancers, that would be very subjective. All 7 members carry their own unique individual stage presence in different ways. They ALL shine.
Jhope is the main dancer(the leader), Jimin and Jungkook are the lead dancers. More recently Also V is considered a lead dancer.

13:16 Jin's iconic pink mic died the day before the concert. He posted about it on Weverse. When they did the slower songs he switched to his light green mic (might have something to do with the different sound set ups of the mics 🤔) but the pink mic will always be the iconic one he trended with. 💜
