    Just got one today, the problem or worry that everyone is having about switching the nipple to an American standard nipple is OVER! They now include an adapter that just pops right on! No going to the hardware store to find threads adapters or anything!
    This thing is powerful, fills fast and not too bad on the ears!
    I will say the gauge does suck as others have mentioned….
    Anyone know if the gauge has a common pipe thread, or is the a replacement gauge?

    Actually I just purchased the ALL-TOP 12v Portable Air Compressor and the air guage is dead on plus the air hose connector is US compatible....Very happy with the purchase I can check and inflate the air pressure on my 5th wheel rv at my leisure...

    Great review / comparison of both air compressors!
    I run the all-top and I love it! I've reset a bead for a UTV on the trail with it and been using the heck out of it since I got it! super impressed!
    Loved to see the comparison between the two! thank you!

    The best part about the ARB, you can rebuild it for about $50 when it starts wearing out. I like that it's not a throw-away product. Mine started blowing fuses and running hot. I bought the piston kit, installed it, and it's like new.

    awsome review. I have the same type as that alltop and still runs great. I had to get a different adapter for the quick adapter attached to the compressor.I believe they call it a type L or something. changed it out and now I can use the normal quick connectors like yours. Sure wish i didn't have to use the flowthrough adapter when filling as it would be nice to be able to use a digital gauge while filling.

    Did some quick searching and the oem fitting looks like a high flow BSPT and is bored out a lot bigger than a standard T style NPT. Mine came with a small adapter hose that connects to the compressor and has a T style male fitting on it.

  • @PainterDans
    @PainterDans 3 года назад +2

    Since you have to turn the compressor off to get a reading from the gauge, shouldn’t the gauge be located near the compressor. Than you don’t have to walk back and forth to check your reading. Am I overlooking something or did they overlook that.
