I agree with most of the comments. Unfortunately the female artist, who did two very good portraits, two separate paintings being the losing choice. The judges should have made it clear that they wanted one painting with both sitters in it.
Not very flattering I'm afraid. The programme is meant to be about portraits not characterisations. The lady artist in the semi finals was head and shoulders above the other contestants.
Not for the first time the judges questioned the likeness of Brogan’s portrait. I fail to see how such an awful portrait could be the final winner especially when the female’s two portraits were so good.
Exactly just a bunch of utter nonsense coming out of there mouths. Nothing has any value anymore it's just all for quick consumption then u spit it out. So many talented artist this year that we're just tossed aside by so called EXPERTS !!!
I am not very happy with the judges, the just try to be controversial. The woman artist Jennifer Anderson must be crying in her sleep, good work counts for nothing! Shame on you! 😢
Brogan comes across as a lovely person but his artwork needs to be fine tuned when doing portraiture it should at least look like the person not a cartoon or caricature of that person
The wrong artist won. But this has happened before with the show. Look at her legs, look at her hands, they’re just badly painted. Surely the whole point is to discover the best portrait artist and reward them with a commission to paint a portrait that will display their skills? They didn’t do that.
I think that what tipped the scales to make Brogan the winner was the painting of his partner. Brogan gives that something extra with his style. But his painting of the couple was not worthy of making him the winner,definitely not. The woman Artist was far superior with her piece but I honestly think she let herself down with the painting of her sister. Although good,it didn’t pack a punch like Brogan’s work.
When Brigan was picked I refused to watch the programe where he painted, well painted is questionable, L. Kelly. Just awful. Such a poor choice of winner. 😢
