Please SUBSCRIBE 👍 Walking around Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur Malaysia it was interesting to see the vast majority of people (including myself) continue to wear face masks outside. Since May 1, 2022 it is no longer compulsory to wear a face mask outdoors in Malaysia. All comments & questions are very welcome !!!
Face mask can be considered as fashion show in the era of Covid - 19 . People still wear mask in Malaysia, eventhough they have given freedom to move. They know the virus is still present.
my friend is having long covid now and still recovering. most of Malaysian including me still wearing mask since i had lots of stock at my house. so yeah that's 1 of the reason y i'm still using it and ofc because covid still out there ;p
Because Malaysia is a mall nation - we walk outdoors under the heat for a bit then impatiently look for a mall to rehydrate, it just doesnt make sense for mask off mask on vibes 😅 at the moment anyway
I am kinda worried it would be only me not wearing mask when I visit there coming June. Do you think pp in KL would feel offended if I dont wear mask while walking around the city?
Malaysians are good natured and you should have no problem walking around with no mask when "outside". But do keep in mind and unless the situation changes in the meantime it is currently compulsory to wear a mask when entering Malls, Shops, Office Buildings, Banks, Public Transport, Taxis etc. I hope you have a very enjoyable trip when you are here.
its troublesome to wear on and take off everytime you enter a premise and out, so might as well just wear it. further more the virus is still there. better safe than sorry.
Probably it’s only in Asia countries that mask are still being worn. I’ve just came back from traveling overseas for two months (Turkey and Greece) and almost no one is wearing mask anymore. I’ve stopped too unless it’s in a crowded public transportation. Just be realistic, the virus will not be going away.. I’ve been fully vaccinated but I’ll act accordingly. I’d wear mask but depends on the situation 😊

prevention are better than cure, even when wearing facemask still can get infection, let alone not wearing one.
Still traumatized by the Covid-19, give it time, and people forget :)

Long term it will be effected on lungs by sucking carbon oxyde instead of oxygen.
Not to antagonise anyone, so better wear or get nasty stares.
There is nothing more depressing than seeing everybody wearing a face nappy.
