    I’m not fan of such policies, esp in creating administrative hells for smaller sellers during this busy time (to adjust all their systems). But this is still good for mass. Let’s see how numbers work out!

      Yes, as if our tax code isn't complicated enough. Now small businesses have to make these temporary changes behind the scenes. Hopefully the extra shopping this holiday season will make it worth while for them.

    I would pay an extra GST for this time period if it leads to an election. Unfortunately I dont buy really much of those items. But I would for sure go on a drunken, sugar filled binged out Christmas tree party to trigger the election.

      Tax hack. Pay no GST this holiday season by decorating the Christmas tree with snacks and junk food instead of regular ornaments. 😎
