      Idk what it is, but it’s like Bouchard took nurse’s power of keeping the other team in it… nurse has turned it around, and is now a somewhat decent player. But of course in oilers fashion, one has to be more dumb so someone can be better? Now it’s Bouchard who’s doing stupid stuff. And I should say from the start of the season. Bouchard has been consistently bad since this season has started, and I never thought id say this but I’m more worried when Bouchard handles the puck in the oilers zone THAN FREAKIN DARNELL NURSE. HOW????

    This was pretty close to a perfectly played game for the boys tonight! Excellent effort, and that new third line is looking like a legitimate threat with Rico’s two goals in this one. Bouchard really has to cut it with the sloppy turnovers, though, it’s already cost us dearly several times this season and it will again if he doesn’t get it right in a hurry. Their defense is overlooked by many haters that like to criticize them. And Nurse isn't a bad Dman. Yes, he's way overpaid, but when he has the right Dman on his line, he's a solid contributor. He was mostly paired with Ceci the last 3 seasons, which, Ceci, isn't that bad either. He just was never a top 4 caliber that can handle the pressure.

    The Oilers defence are like a steel sieve. Made of steel but allows a lot through. Skinner had so many close-in shots and breakaways, you would have thought that after a 3-0 lead, the Oilers would have focused on game control and perhaps helping their keeper preserve a shutout. But instead, they basically went hunting for beer.

  • @Diane-nb3yx
    @Diane-nb3yx 3 дня назад +1

    Nobody mentioning it ... Boston's been dealt a difficult schedule (too many games) in the same interval where there's still 6 teams that haven't even played their 40th game! Only three teams have had to play 43 games to date .... Bruins (45 pts), New Jersey (incredibly 53 pts!) and San Jose (32 pts). If a team has older players, they get burned out quickly when enduring a brutal schedule. So gotta keep bringing up ponies from the farm who've got promise, fresh legs to skate fast, and motivation to show well on the big stage. With their current streak of 5L, Bruins in a sort of free-fall but hopefully can still turn it around in time for the 2025 playoffs - Bruins make the NHL playoffs a good thing! But Tampa, Montreal, Ottawa, Detroit coming up fast ....

      While the Bruins players were counting their hits on the bench, the Coach realized there was 3 mins left in the game and the score was 3 - 0......Oilers don't get intimidated with physicality...As long as they put up with it like they did last year, the skill of the Oilers will prevail over any team! But they would be more fearsome with a couple more big players, also when Kane gets back.
