Whenever I think of EXPERT 18s, this is the first song that comes to mind. 440 BPM on its own is fast. REALLY fast! Faster than my eyes and legs could even comprehend. Combine that with big streams, crossovers, and even double steps, my senses will be dead in the water.
Crazy how there are people who still think this should've stayed a 17 to this day. Perhaps it may be easy to pass with the simpler patterns, but all those drills and crossovers are no joke at 220 BPM foot speed. I still struggle doing well on this chart to this day.
This chart as your first 17/18 is absolutely insane... 🥴 I think back to my first 17 and thinking of jumping straight to this makes my chest hurt. Awesome job!
The challenge chart was Perfect FCd by IamChris4Life 6 years ago, widely regarded to be the best DDR player in the world: ruclips.net/video/QWCXAdaj2Vs/видео.html The only two charts that has never been FCd to this day, having stood the test of time, are the challenge charts of Lachryma and Endymion (excluding new 2023/4 charts in which it is hard to freely practice them)
@@Latias38 In singles, every 18 has been at least PFC'd by someone. Out of the new 19s, Hou I can't know if it's been FC'ed or not, and Volaquas was PFC'd by Harujun on his sightread, and Chris has just 12p on it. If you're talking about Doubles, then a lot of charts are flat out physically impossible to combo or even attempt to play as intended
@@alanthesuperhero the Challenge Double for Hou was FC'd by HADES, an amazing Doubles Player from Japan. It also gave him his first ever DP lv. 19 FC in the process. If I'm not mistaken, he also AAA'd it or came REALLY close, but I'll have to go check. But I watched it happen when he posted it in real time on Twitter. Also side note: A lot of people don't know about HADES, but he is an INCREDIBLY underrated DDR Doubles player; I first witnessed him last year via livestream at the King of Double Players Tournament in Osaka where he took the grand prize for the highest tier in the tournament. It was amazing seeing him go head to head with fellow Doubles players Kitune and TAKASKE among others, but all of them were amazing to watch.
@@alanthesuperhero "(excluding new 2023/4 charts in which it is hard to freely practice them)" Its why I mentioned this part specifically for Hou because it hasnt been singles FCd to my knowledge... but moreso due to the difficulty of accessing and practicing it rather than having the capability of doing so. I am aware though Volaquas was PFCd extremely fast though, and many consider it to be the perfect gateway between lv 18 and 19. But if the doubles chart for Hou has been FCd before, then the FC for singles chart is only a matter of time. Cant say that for Lachryma and Endymion however.
