These views are unbelieveably astonishing. The British countryside never ceases to amaze me. :) youre so lucky to be there! Thank you for sharing with us :)
Julia Liadsky Yes, it is amazing to be able to have these places right on the doorstep. Even the canal itself runs right by the foot of the hill really! This area is just inside Wales and the hills around us are all part of the Berwyn Range. It is just at the start of really hilly Wales before the hills become proper mountains!
the scenery did not look real, it was like in a movie, simply wonderful. you two are lucky to have such great places to spend time at. Thanks for making and sharing.
Robb's Homemade Life Yes, I have always said how grateful I am for growing up with areas like this around. I love llangollen as it is nestled amidst the hills that you see in this video, being able to walk down the canal or catch a bus there then walk up into the hills in every direction is great and something I have spent a huge amount of time doing over the years!
Thanks again Dan for another scenic video of a very interesting place. Also great that you have a companion join you in the presentation. Sarah, you did terrific your first time and we appreciate you joining in. Feel free to express exactly how you felt as Dan does. We are a friendly group here and admire what you two are doing. Keep up the great work and looking forward to the next installment of the Dan & Sarah Adventures!
Lance Muller Thanks for such a great comment, I can confirm that there is at least one more video in this series! We will see how things go but I have another two videos already edited after the next, just needing voice overs! The next walk up a hill video will be online on Monday 25th, it is a perfect sunny Shropshire day too!
Dinas Bran Castle looked a very interesting site with terrific views, thanks for sharing.
PS. Well done Sarah.
Royandloraine Northwood Yes, it is only a small site but the fact it has the random bits of ruins dotted about make it a good place to wander around and look at, I love the last remaining arches. It would be a good little viewing place even without the ruins, they are the icing on the cake!
This is a wonderful adventure...great looking place. And we like Sarah!! You must bring her back for more adventures :)
Felix the Bus Haha thanks, will do! More Sarah inbound!
Fantastic scenery and good banter between you both. Get Sarah on video!
evoermine Haha I will try! Thanks for your comment, glad you liked the trip!
Dan, breathtaking scenery! At first I look twice to see if this was
a movie! Great video, thanks for sharing☺
That last shot of the remains against the sunset was a classic Dan - I can already see it as a possible new Dan Brown book cover...
Paul .Austin Yes definitely... Dan's Dinas Bran Book... Also know as Brinas Dan! It really is a great place up there, I never get tired of it!
Definitely going to keep Dinas Bran Castle in mind when my husband and I are back in the UK!
Ren Obscure Yes, it is great and literally right next to Llangollen Village as well!
"It wasn't little, no for me." Well played Dan!
This was very nice Dan and Sarah seems very sweet and is quite a nice addition to your vlogging...Well done!!!
diverdan551 Thanks, glad you liked the video!
I have been watching your videos for some time, and these hill climbs are my very favorite, i wish they were a bit slower and a bit longer at the top. just having a slow pan, and i mean VERY slow, painfully slow to you, i'm sure....would be lovely. I like to watch these in the dark on my large screen and imagine i am there. I would have loved a good 10 minutes of these views, with the actual sounds, of the wind and your movements. POV can benefit from some audio if there are birds or leaves rustling. Lovely as ever. I can't wait to visit there myself!
Jennifer Mann-Hunter Thanks for your comment and input, I took it onboard on a recent trip up another hill and at the top I have a solid one minute long slow pan which will hopefully be more to your taste! It will be online on a week on Monday. Thanks again for your thoughts, I will keep the uploads coming!
The sheep was so adorable too!
Florida bound.
How old is Danis Bran? I seem to wonder about the people that stacked all those stones to make a castle. Thanks for sharing. God Bless and take care.
Teresa H I think it is about 700 years old give or take. Yes it must have been a huge amount of work getting it built up there!!
I saw that you have a lady friend now and couldn't help but think back to your video discussing where you in vision yourself in the next few year. I got quite a chuckle when I remembered how you had said maybe I'll have a wife and three kids then paused and proceeded to do the math ultimately concluding that realistically, you could only have two by the time you turned 30. I see you've wasted little to no time on making that prediction come true! ;) as always, awesome scenery, great video!
Great video
Bring back Dan number 2! Hes far more interesting!
Daniel Hall Boooooooo! I have a voice over lined up for you still! I am going to be in town over the weekend... Free house so we will get on it!!!
