That gate is known as the Khongjom War Memorial Gate. One of the battle front in the Anglo-Manipuri war of 1891. The literal translation of Pukok is “Highest Forefathers” and that of Nawa or Naowa is “Descendants”. It could be translated as Descendants of the Highest Forefathers.

In the last second scene you see that weapon called Arambai. It is the name of a dart-like weapon with a sharp point at the tip and peacock feathered tail at the grip. It was the secret weapon of the Meiteis, the main community of Manipur in easternmost India. Arambai were carried in a quiver strapped near the horse saddle, and were tipped with poison in time of war.
