They maked the F-4 just had 2 of each weapons to add a plane with 4 of each weapons and overpowered ignoring the fact than rhe F-4 can carry a lot more missiles and bombs.. thank you Green titans entreteniment🗿
Irl the f4 doesnt have the mg cuz the us thought that the guided missiles are good enough so they took off the mag but when the vietnam war started, they went into close dogfights witch made the usa re-add the mgs

It's the same thing for other planes like the f-14 and a-10 it's most likely for balancing I guess
