Thanks for the great Tutorial. But i tried to animate the Torus and throw the spheres on it just as you did on frame 16.07, and the spheres still passed through the torus. Could this be a Bug? or do you have a solution to it? Thanks
hi, i tried animating the torus bowl as you did. But as soon as i set a keyframe on Y rot, the balls are passing through it. how do i overcome this. request your help
Hi, I have tried the color node, but for some reason I can only see the colors in the viewport. When I render the scene, the MASH objects are all in one Lambert material. Am I doing something wrong?
Solution :- STEP 1 :- Assign a new aistandard surface material to the mash objects that you created using MASH. STEP 2 :- In the MASH color node, copy the color set name. STEP 3 :- Go to the hypershade and create a new node named aiuserdatacolor and assign it to the base color of the aistandard surface. STEP 4 :- Paste the name you copied into the userdatacolor node in the hypershade and you are good to go.
If it is still not visible in the Arnold render, then go to the MASH Repro node and in the output attributes, turn off the color per vertex off and turn it on again, then it will work just fine 😊
Great video and interesting tutorial. I liked it very much. Looking forward to the next one!
Thank you . Really help me
Video is awesome! Thanks!

Same here. I tried what he did on frame 16.07 but the spheres still passed through the torus.
How did you click and drag to change the parameter at the 14:24 mark in the video?
Left Ctrl + Left Click hold and Drag.
