heres an answer for a question you've asked: the person that made the game is a solo dev, and a cool little fun fact is that the game is officially releasing on the 17th this month (out now on steam). awesome video btw
As a dev, i can say that the water shader goes hard. The buoyancy physics and weight system is not that hard to make today, but the swimming is hard to get right! So good job to that dev for making the swimming feel nice!
For me my favorite thing in VR games is the interact-ability. Being able to interact with literally everything I can see is something I just can't get enough of! Of course it works best when the mechanics of the game are well fleshed out. Such as grabbing, shooting, inventory, etcetera. Being able to jiggle a locked door to a room that doesn't exist instead of not being able to hold the handle goes a long way. Same with grabbing a piece of paper and waving it easily and then a brick and having trouble moving it cuz of weight. Anyway yeah that's my spiel. Great video btw.
It would be cool to have a mission where you help restore a reef, and over time, when you revisit, you'll see it slowly growing back, and filling up with life again.
I have been playing this demo so many times, and i love it. In a few days the game will be released and we can finally play trough the whole game, sim, whatever you want to call it.
Love your Photo-realistic VR games, would be really excited to see how well they work with finger-tracking-force-feedback VR gloves. I have a top of the range RTX4090 PC but I'm waiting for VR gloves to get good before I take the leap with a VR headset & gloves! :)
@rylayizsik firstly hand tracking without gloves is poor quality as the cameras can only track what they can see, so fine detail finger tracking is impossible without gloves. Secondly gloves allow haptics so you can FEEL what's in VR, adding a new dimension. VR with game controllers or just visual finger tracking is not immersive enough.
Really interested to see how the full game is as well, and yeah finger tracking on this with haptic feedback would be unreal. Feeling the pressure of the water as you move your hand and swim AHHHH

Demo is gorgeous but for the life of me i cant find the other 3 shark toys in the demo to unlock the shark tank ..spent 2hrs in the training area and only got 95% finished no clue what i need for 100% but theres only 1 shark toy on that board i searched forever
Try Pavlov vr it’s the most realistic shooting vr game out right now and it’s only 20$ dollars it does gave gore but RUclips doesn’t get mad but you can turn it off or down it’s got every guns and it has putting on attachments on your own please try it

It's really realistic but I dislike not having a full body, full body immerses you way more than just 2 floating hands, I don't know why they keep doing the 2 floating hands instead of a full IK body because now it's so easy to implement
We need games like this especially like biology and also like taking care of animals and also rescue I would love those deep sea diving like with dip and whales imagine being in be with a whale like a blue whale or even an orca ??? Any please
