Grace and Forgiveness

Levi’s chosen occupation as a tax collector-a position notorious for greed and lies-would have left him despised by society and his family. Yet as Alistair Begg shows us, the calling of God never leaves us where we are, whether we are marked by sin or by our own attempts at goodness. His call always elicits a response. When Jesus called Levi, this societal outcast turned his back on everything to follow the one who would change his life. Have we done the same?
