Potato here! This is a fan animation based off the surrealistic webcomic 'ranfren'.
All clips are animated by me, as well as edited.

I love this animation because it's almost exactly how I could imagine a RF series/anime ending up being, just this type of web series you can find uploaded on the internet that spawns a bunch of other episodes with captions at the bottom or voice acting. I've revisited this for the first time now, and I still think this is so phenomenal!! You even captured the old VHS effects Captain would have in their old videos..Incredible tribute to the comic

I am in awe of how accurate you delivered all details from the comic to a video. Even the musical accompaniment when Randal turns into a furby toy... I defenetely want other lucids to be animated by the same way. There is so much love in this piece of art!

IM SO TRULY HAPPY!! :DDD you did amazing animating this, from the effects and the animation flow... all of it. you animated the movements perfectly, the transition from one panel to another is seamless. and all the saturated colours with an old vhs aesthetic really gives out a lost media type, it's genius that you add this detail. i can not describe how happy to see ranfren being animated, especially by the one and only sweetpotatoes!!! you!!!
