In this scene, i can’t blame him too, while he’s having this cancer, all he’s thinking is Eda, all about her. He let Eda go her way because that’s what he thinks the best. But he’s also dying inside, wanting eda to stay, wanting eda to not let go of his hand, not to leave him, the bad thing is, all the negative things he’s thinking, the not-so-good scenario his keeping all of himself, his overthinking made him lost Eda, he really broke her heart big time. Yes, he did find her, he did all he can but it isn’t enough. I later found out (Season 2), that scene really touched my heart😭. That he really wanted to have a child (children) with Eda, his dream was to have a happy family with the woman he truly loves! he’s just too afraid that if his cancer may worsen or else he will not recover, there is a chance that he may leave them (d**th) and that’ll cause again, his family (eda and their child) to suffer big time and he don’t want to happen, he don’t want Eda so suffer because of him again. Of course in Season 2, we encountered the new Serkan who’s already honest and being himself, and finally doing what he really wanted. He did his best to be the perfect father for Kiraz, giving Kiraz the love and sweetness, the best he could provide, filling the moments he wasn’t with her for a long time and for me, he really portray that well. there’s this one episode also where ‘After Life’, his company got bankrupt because of some reasons, and he gave up his shares, he sold his shares, he left the company, his beloved company (if u already watched the whole series, u know what i mean, how this company and his work is so important to him) just because he wanted Eda to continue her big project in Italy, that’s also Eda’s dream and he don’t want her design be wasted. that’s so sweet, that really moved my heart. After all, this series taught us that, LOVE with open communication, honesty and trust really conquers all.
