I have had tinnitus since 2016 and it was really scary at first, I could barely sleep and I ended up sleeping with earphones in and listen to nature sounds like rain, crickets, snowstorms so it would drown out the ringing. It eventually got better, to the point where I could sleep without any music. I definitely pay close attention to volumes now and am much more sensitive to loud noises/music. I don't think people understand just how badly impactful loud music can be to your ears.
I'll take care of my ears from now on thank you
Now i am facing the same issue.i have got treatment from the doctor. But it’s not working out. What should i do now?
@@smelllessrose8657 I'm pretty sure it's permanent, i have had it for years now; sometimes it's unnoticeable, other times it's just annoying, that's about it for me, though, the ringing can be louder or more subtle depending on how damaged your ear is
I have tinnitus as well but I don't give a damn.
I think i should just watch vids without sound from now on😅
as someone who got an ear infection two times, i suggest to always dry your ears and to never overuse your earphones. during my second infection, the buildup was so bad that my ear drums got perforated. since then, i've been randomly experiencing tinnitus. i was also informed by my ent that my right ear's hearing could weaken by my 40s-50s.
I'm a sub user and i loop my videos overnight but i hear music in a low volume.. will it still damage my ears.. cuz' I can't help it.. i need to loop my playlist overnight 😶
@Ori yeah i thought of that as well.. but the trauma that the ear infection stories are giving me is beyond imagination.. i am really afraid.. 😟
@Ori Ahh that's a great suggestion.. thank you so much for your time ✨☺️
I have a ear infection right now and I don't know what to do the doctors gave me medication 2 times in row and nothing its been going on for 4-5 weeks already 🙁
i hate wearing ear buds for 2 reasons.
1. Sometimes they don't fit
2. they get dirty with ear wax and that's gross
Definitely Shook well clean your ears then and make them fit
aidsgill Right
@@aidsgill7217 just cleaning your ears wont help
clean the earbuds aswell
Alcohol swab them ear buds bud
2nd one applies to me every time.!!!
well now students have to sit for online classes 24/7 and I can't even lower the volume cus either I can't hear the class or it'll be too loud but if we ask our parents for headphones "get higher grades" and now ya I got swimmers ear
So sadly 😥😞
@@sagarpatel6062 true
I just don't bother to wear headphones at this point, just put it on speaker
1st world problems hehe
Just blast it on speaker lol, if your parent is bothered by it they might give u a headphone xD
I wear headphones because earbuds don’t fit in my ears. They either fall out or are uncomfortable.
me too
I’m glad I’m not alone here
same
The "fall out" part is probably because of non-matching silicone sleeves. You need to pick those, so it would fit perfectly in your ear.
Wired earphones can also fall out or feel uncomfortable because of their wires and it's weight. Can't do anything about that, so I'm usually sticking with either wireless earphones for going out and over-ear headphones for quality and low latency at home.

I had a face palsy because of ear infection. I was a ear buds user. (Now I’m doing better thankfully.) If you read this comment please take the video seriously. 😔 don’t underestimate your health. If possible please use headphones instead. And keep yourself from being sweaty and dirty in the ear area. ❤
Hey! Help me please I'm having the same problem rn it's been 4 days n I'm having face palsy what can I do? Doctor's medicine aren't working out for me..

So a cloth breathable earbud might work. Plus you would be able to take the tips off and wash them. The cloth can also pull moisture away from your ear, keeping it cleaner and dryer.
As a person with mild hearing loss, great thing I keep track of how loud I listen to things when using earphones

As the doctor recommended the use of external earphones ,this gave me a genuine reason for my parents for buying me a headphone ,,, thanks doctor..

Thanks for the advice a lot.
Very helpful 🙂
I use both in-ear and over-ear headphones for many years. I have no problems with hearing or infections. So what I'm trying to say: enjoy music! When it's comfortable and don't disturbing any physical irritation within you, that's NOT unhealthy!
@@vexice of course you had to be racist dickhead to reply like this
@@vexice yes, that is ethnicity, and judging someone by his ethnicity is racism
This happened to me! I regularly would disinfect and change the little ear bud ends of my galaxy buds, but I still developed a nasty case of infection in both ears. I'm now on antibotic and ciprodex. Over the ear head sets are now my go-to. At least they don't penetrate the sensitive part of the ear lining.
I am facing the same issue now.i have got treatment from the doctor. But It's not working out.what should i do now?
@@smelllessrose8657 you need a stronger treatment of antibiotics and I would recommend a visit with a new Dr. Sometimes new Dr's take a different approach if previous ones did not work.
Can I just say, its headphones or earphones. Figure it would make it easier for u to explain next time.

This advert was paid for by BEATS by Dre. (you forgot that part).
C. Lincoln as someone who engineers in sound, keeoing volumes at comfortable levels is quintessential to sound quality, and theres no such thing as monitor earbuds. all studio quality headphones are, by no surprise, over-the-ear headphones; headphones that dont come in contact with the ear but CUP around it.
nonetheless beats by dr. dre remain overpriced
Beats are just another apple product that isn't that great but us expensive and people pay that for the brand. Not that Sennheiser or Sony aren't expensive and gotten for the brand, but at least you pay for what you're getting.
J Arnett sennheiser is just a little bit cheaper than beats. not much of a difference really. sure ppl will pick the famous one
forgot about D.R.E. smh
Go for Half-in ear earphones if you can't switch to over-the-ear headsets. they don't cause vacuum effect which can be harmful to the eardrum if a prolonged low pressure region gets formed. These let the air pass in to some extent though they do not block ambient noise..
Thanks for the info
Wish I would’ve known this. Im a long distance runner and in a period of a month or so I developed scabs all over my inner and outer ear. I would clean the earbuds and change the tips daily but none of that helped. Oh well back to quiet running.
Purchase headphones instead
@@dray1z318 most headphones are too heavy for running, they have to be super light in order to stay comfortable
there are earphones you can just put over your ear for runners. or those bone conduction earphones. might be safer coz you can still hear your surroundings
@@FlVE plus they fall off.

Indeed i used to wear earring buds for long times with max volume till I had a really bad and painful ear infection that lasted for a whole month to fully heal after that I never ever wore ear buds again I only use head phone with moderate volume and for short time ,
Please everyone take care of your ears and body, it's very precious
Can confirm. I've had permanent tinnitus for years from listening to loud headphones too much.
@john robert do you understand the word 'permanent'?
@john robert lmao, putting the word 'calm' and abusing at the same time. Sounds like an oxymoron
Thank you for giving good message.I will stop using earphones from now.

I don't like in-ear headphones, but you can use them if you remove the silicone or foam seal. Then the thin poastic tube will hardly come into contact with the ear canal, and the sound will become without noise isolation, there will be a feeling as if the sound sounds from the audio system in the room. For me, such a sound quality is acceptable and I fell in love with in-ear headphones, now they do not cause itching and are very comfortable, there is no feeling of pressure in the ears.
I wear earbuds for long periods of time, and I notice moisture builds up in my ear from them after a few hours... Definitely feels like a bad thing glad someone is corroborating that
use headphones!

Me:wearing headphones while watching this video. All me baby!
Those kids at school that put all the volume up and you can hear it. Like how do you listen to that its so loud. One time my teacher told a kid that he was having a literal concert for the whole class.
thanks for video
Thank You
Is this how I randomly hear a ring that lasts for 10 seconds?
I usually keep my volume at around the 40-60% mark across the line. Also I’ve had swimmer’s ear before but I am a swimmer and it hit me around April and trust me those things hurt like hell. Your hearing is muffled and it hurts like hell so be careful. Also if you’re squeamish the don’t read ahead.
My case was rather severe where there was excessive earwax coming out of my ear and when I used a q tip to go in a little bit there was blood. Doctors gave me ear drops and it healed within a few days but man that was a very painful experience.
Hm yes, Swimmer’s ear is indeed hell especially when both of your ears are infected and you’re sleeping position is sideways
Short and informative
