Nice one Adrian. I find it facinating seeing how builds of 79 Series in South Africa while being the same vehicle, are so different to builds here in Australia. The OEM Toyota tub sure gives it a different look, compared to the Australian preferred full canopy setup. At a glance from a distance, Roelf's 79 looked like a long wheelbase 76 Series. And while the canopy is less accessible with the tub (vs full canopy setup), I like it. It makes it look like a wagon.
I agree. With the canopy around the same height as the cabin, it gives an impression of a lower profile roof. And with the tub the same width as the cabin, it makes the whole thing look like a wagon at a glance. It looks good. 👌
Am so hurt guys, today just when I was off boarding from a taxi, ypu guys were already leaving Delta Palms shopping mall here in Maun, I think you were from Spar. Your convoy was already by the traffic lights, guess you getting into Moremi, safe journey and enjoy Botswana again
It’s finally back on the road and running as of friday last week; so there might be some updates soon. But we depart for our next trip this Friday so maybe the Isuzu will be abit more delayed until we return
It’s finally back on the road; but it’s going to take a while to get a video out around it because we have a trip coming up and won’t be around for a couple more weeks
This build is just turning out to be something else. Was there a 300mm extention done on it like the Landcruiser 79 that Bush tech was advertising last year?
Hi Guys, I like how neat Gs Auto Electric done the work. I would like to contact them to help with my ranger. Are you able to assist with their details? I did Google but find different ones so not sure which one you guys used? Thanks in advance
It’s just how our production worked, we all know you put the weight first and then the kit. Our timeline’s didn’t coincide with other people to make that so, you can not have a show instead. Rather than being a grouch, take that cocky energy somewhere else.
If i had the money right now this is what i had in mind my rig would look like. cant wait for the next video. I live here in South Africa 🤘🤙👍👍🥰😀😀
Awesome was really waiting for this next episode.
Love n respect from pakistan
Epic build - I’m excited to be part of the Raom Overlanding team on the next big adventure
Love the posture of that Cruiser.
I'm definitely going to recommend this video to ASPW as a suggestion for his planned African rig/build.
Revved up with your Land Cruiser mega build Roelfie for your upcoming trip! Living the outdoors … well done!!
Awesome rig thanks for sharing
Amazing Adrian. Great to see you last week.
absolutely! Thanks for the lunch 👏🏻
i love Roelfie
Best go camping with Roelfie often as he has more space for those Magnums.
Truly amazing I've been watching this cruiser transformation and I cannot deny the beauty 😍 I'd get that myself
Looks like a beast 💪 well done. 👍 can't wait to see a full walk around.
This is hugely impressive. I am green with envy. What an incredible build.
Nice to see the progress and great to see more of Roelf - he and I studied together at Tuks.
Oh awesome! Small world hey!
@Shaun McCarthy : Evidently not. 😅 Engineering.
@Shaun McCarthy engineers! 😂

It’s a hard working setup for sure! The fact you get your vehicles without tubs that side is just mind boggling for us 😂

Haha don’t be hurt! Be happy! 😂
@@RoamOverlanding am happy got to saw the convoy though, y'all enjoy Botswana again
What a rig! Like a SEMA build or something 👍
Good enough to be there for sure!! 🤓
The dream!
Hey I was looking at it not realizing it was this one 😅
1 day will build such a monster for Ovetlanding
An awesome dream to have!
I'm the first person to like and comment and I live here in South Africa the same as you
It's looks overland ready. Nicely done. 👍👌 BTW. What's happening to the Isuzu? Any changes since last time?
It’s finally back on the road and running as of friday last week; so there might be some updates soon. But we depart for our next trip this Friday so maybe the Isuzu will be abit more delayed until we return
Lucky Roelfi! You do need a Troopy to be added to the Roam stable, let’s face it :) Will we see the final product weighed when it’s all finished?
Maybe the troopy would be for me 🤓 hahah! Weighed?? I don’t think anyone wants to know that 😭
What happened to the Isuzu bakkie of your uncle?
It’s finally back on the road; but it’s going to take a while to get a video out around it because we have a trip coming up and won’t be around for a couple more weeks
ROAM3 - GP
😉😉

Nope, nochassis extension's done! :)
Awesome rig, bro are those 35inch tires?
34” 👍🏻
🤙👍
Hey mate. Just wondering about the final weight of the Lc79? Cheers
Lots and lots 🤣
Do you correct the rear wheeltrack of the landcruiser 70 series v8 in south africa? thanks..
People do it with 50mm spacers here normally; but Roelf hasnt done it yet.
I highly recommend correcting it. You wonder if it’s needed when the car’s unladen, then realise why it’s essential the first time you take a corner!

Why spare wheel swing arm on the left. Don't you find it being in your way when camping?
I think because he wants to run a double spare wheel carrier
Hi there
What make LI battery did you use in your build
This one was Enertech but I use Evolife
Hey, it's been a year. When are we getting a full tour, inside and tub. ?
Good question. I’m heading up to see Roelf again soon
I'm sure a rig like that must cost a mint !
Who does suspension before the weight goes on. Bloody thick as two bricks 79 series owners 😂

@@RoamOverlanding gotta do it wrong just to secure the bag right 😂🤣💰💰.
