This is a lifesaver on Malaysian roads where the rear cam and radar always catch those cars who sneak up behind you.
The navigation is accurate and the cameras are good enough to use as b-reel action cams.
Its worth the price for the professional install, theft proof installation and the all in one capability. No more hanging phones or checking phone for navigation.
Most days I dont ride with the usual insta360 and action cameras mounted too. I just download whatever i need from the stored video.
Damn that’s ex, I bought the vsys normal cam for $160 and the android auto navigation system without cam in Taobao for $80. Works great and don’t have to worry if people steal my android auto screen, I will have to compromise on my cam system as they are separate system

For reduced distraction setting the screen to show rear camera works beautifully as a safety device.
Setting to maximum brightness gives a bit of night vision improvement too.
I had it for more than 6 months. Good screens size and video quality.

Apple CarPlay and android auto only support certain apps. Doesn’t support grab driver, foodpanda & deliveroo apps. So it will not show up on the screen.
Does your phone battery drain just as fast as when you use it for navigation?
For me, nope.
batt drain is even slower for me. since installing this, my phone will be in my bag while riding, so no direct sunlight hitting the screen, no overheated phone.
