Thats my dad!! I love and miss you so Much! I am so grateful to find these videos, he never told me about them, silly man, YOU ROCK DAD. Continuing your legacy here in Melbourne, FL Brevard's Patch Location... Proudly selling Patch Stop Patches and also offering custom patches & embroidery.
I was using glue to put a Soviet and Cuban flag on my breast pockets because the space was too small to hand sew them. But washing it made the glue come loose and they're not hanging on as well. I've been trying to search how to sew onto them (and just getting results for how to sew pockets onto jackets) and found this video. I've got to get me one of these machines.
FYI the "stars facing forward" convention for flag insignia on the right shoulder is a U.S. military tradition and is not required or recommended by the US flag code. So if you are non-military you can wear a traditional flag on the right shoulder. This question comes up a lot in the Boy Scouts of America, who wear traditional flag insignia on the right shoulder.
The only times we are ever in your area would be for the Fall and Winter Rallies, but if you are needing your patches sewn on sooner, you could always arrange to send it in to our facilities and we will get them done for you. Please contact PatchStop at either info@patchstop.com or 386-451-4489.
Is it better to sew on the edge of the patch, of just to the inside of the edge? I have seen this done both ways and I would like to know your thoughts on where is the best placement of the needle. Thank you.
